Where am I? New wonder spot of Kitakyushu!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

From a little guesthouse under a little lighthouse where overlooks Kanmon straits,
I am presenting charm points of this area which never posted on any guidebooks
by utilizing free time during hostel business.

First of all, this area is my home town.
We call “U-turn” in Japan for who coming back to start new life.

I have once left my hometown and lived in Tokyo, other city and overseas.
From the view point of person who have experience to live outside of hometown, this area has a lot of wonderful charming points in very small area.

I always have big findings whenever I visited the places I have never been in my childhood or the places I have visited long, long time ago.
(Those places may be boring for my old friends who have stayed here long time.)
Now, I am living with full of excitement.
Yes, excitement but different from that of Tokyo.

The place I am introducing today is:
Famous spot where many people know.
Most of tourists from overseas who travel this area see this place and some of them take pictures of this spot.
However not many people, even local people do not go this spot.

I could visit here because I am U-turn not I-turn.

So, guess WHERE is this?  (Quiz style, this time.)

ふるさと “新”探訪！〜 さて、ここはどこ？！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

海峡を望む、灯台下のちいさいゲストハウス「灯火」 より、
宿屋業の空き時間を活用し、ガイドブックには載っていないこの地域の魅力をお届けしています。

まず、この土地は、自分のふるさとです。つまりUターン。

一度は故郷を捨てながら、東京や海外から戻ってきた人間の視点で見ると、
実はここは「素敵な魅力」が集積している場所だと感じずにはいれません。

子供の頃には行ったことのなかった場所やずいぶん昔に行ったことのある場所を実際に訪れてみると、なにかしら大きな発見があります。
（ここにずっといる幼なじみ達にはつまらない話題かもしれませんが、）
東京とは違う意味の刺激に満ちた日々を過ごしています。

さて、今回お届けするのは、かなり有名な地元の名所です。
ここに観光にやって来る外国人もかなりの確率で見て、写真に撮る人もいるほどですが、
地元に住んでる人でも、ほとんど行くことのない素敵な場所です。

Ｉターンではなく、Uターンだからこそ 探訪できる場所。

さて、「ここはどこでしょう？」
