Mickey Mouse is Coming to Town!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This weekend, Disney will hold a event in this town to celebrate Tokyo Disneyland 35th anniversary. It will be a corroboration with local “Moji Port Festival”. Of course, Mickey, Minnie and other famous character seems to join the parade.

It will be the first big event in this local town.
Minato Matsuri ( = port festival ) is our traditional event, but it is out of fashion now. So Disney’s attendance to the festival must make people excited on the day of parade.

My granddaughter also love the dream character, Mickey and Minnie.
We hope kids in my home town will enjoy the event very much.
( Disney’s parade will be held on May 27, Sunday.)

ミッキーが町にやってくる！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今週末、東京ディズニーランドの開園35周年を記念して、ミッキーマウスなどディズニーキャラクターのパレード隊が、わが町の「みなとまつり」でパレードをするそうです。

田舎町では初めてのビックイベントです。
伝統とはいえ、少々廃れた感のある「みなとまつり」が久々に沸きそうです。

ミッキー・ミニーといえば、孫娘も大好きな夢のキャラクター。
この町の子供たちを魅了する一日*になると良いですね。
（*ディズニーのパレードは5月27日に行われるそうです。）

What day is this Weekend?

This is a picture of “SAKAEMACHI” yesterday.

I believe that this weekend is …

“MOJIKO MINATO MATSURI (Port Festa)”

“MINATO MATSURI” used to be the biggest event of this town in my childhood.

But, however,

Who made our hometown like this??

Since I came back to Moji, I have felt something different,
when I see both part of this town, divided by “DENSHA DORI street”

If there were no RETRO Investment, what would our hometown be?

There is no HOME SCHOOL in this town
and I cannot stop feeling Ruins here.

Thank you and you have a nice day, getting better together.

P.S. This may be natural trend.
Because I have also been in Tokyo, not this town, for long period.
But, I will do my best to contribute to my hometown.

何の日、今週末？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

昨日、土曜日の「栄」町商店街アーケード。

たしか今週末は、、、、

門司港みなとまつり。

「みなとまつり」といえば、
かつて子供の頃は街あげての一大イベント！

それなのに、それなのに、、、

こんな故郷に誰がした？

Uターンして戻ってきて、「電車通り？」を境に、
海側と山側の温度差に違和感を感じながら、

もしレトロがなかったらさらにヤバいと鳥肌の立つ思い。

この街きっての進学校だった母校も今はなく、
栄枯盛衰を感じる週末になりそうです。

それでは、どうぞ共に栄えて素敵な一日を！

＊P.S.
かくいう自分も一時は故郷を捨てて、東京に居たし、
母校あげての同窓会も今はこの街では行われておらず、
仕方のない必然的な流れなのかもしれませんね。
「真の故郷」に少しでも貢献したいと思う今日この頃です

I want her to stay tonight.

Yesterday morning, an elegant lady passed by.

She has both noble name and nice body.

Specially, volume of her body is top class,
among those who have passed this blue corridor.

I really want her stay one night here.

But she has never looked here back,
not even gave here a glance.

She seems to go somewhere else to stay the night.

Name of this beauty is:

What a complete farce it is!

今晩とまっていってほしいのに、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今朝ここを優雅に通り過ぎていったのは、、、

名前はとっても高貴なのに、ナイスバディな彼女。

誰もが認めるボリューミーな容姿は、、、
ここを通る中では間違いなくトップクラス。

憧れの彼女に是非一晩停まっていってほしいけれど、、、

こちらの器が小さくて、身分不相応、魅力もないせいか、
振り返ることもなく、見向きすらされずに、、、

そのまま他（よそ）へ停まりに行ってしまったようです。

その美女の名前は、、、
