Elderly drivers are also scary, but here in Kitakyushu, elderly people cross roads without any crosswalks or traffic lights all the time. In fact, they often cause accidents.

this is the national highway in front of the police station.
They cross roads everywhere. And too slowly!
If you are driving in this town, please be careful.
If you run over one of these people crossing the road, you will be really unlucky and lose a lot.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
交通安全といえば、ここ北九州で小学生歩行者よりもっとヤバいのが、、、
コレっ！
そう、高齢者の道路横断。
高齢者ドライバーも怖いですが、ここ北九州では横断歩道や信号のない道路を平気でいつでも高齢者が横断してきます。実際に事故も少なくありません。
ちなみにこの絵を引いて見てみると、、、
なんと警察署の前の国道です。どこでも渡ってきます。それもノロノロと！
この町を運転される方は、どうぞ気をつけてください。
こうした横断者を轢いた時には、ほんとに轢き損です。
