Surprisingly useful? Recommended for guests, too?

The TV drama set in this town, which concluded with its final episode last night.

The town itself wasn’t really the focus, leaving us with the impression that the setting could have been anywhere; ultimately, the story ended without leaving any lasting impression or sense of intrigue.

(For starters, actual port towns tend to have a strong reputation for being unwelcoming toward large-scale chains and franchises…)

That was such kind of drama, but it contained some interesting information – unrelated to the plot itself – that could actually be useful for this guesthouse.

It’s… a “quick-add” recipe using convenience store items!

So we immediately gathered the ingredients at a nearby supermarket and gave it a try.

意外と使える？ ゲストさんにもオススメ？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

昨晩、最終回が放映されて終わってしまった、この町が舞台のテレビドラマ。

町自体にはあまり焦点が当てられることもなく、別に舞台はどこでも良かったのかもと、面白みや後味を感じることもなく終わってしまった感があります。

（そもそも実際の港町は広域チェーンやフランチャイズに対して排他的な印象が強いし、、、）

そんなドラマでしたが、ストーリーとはあまり関係ないところで、ゲストハウス的には使えそうなおもしろ情報が含まれていました。

A recent trend we’ve noticed among our guests is…

staying for multiple nights!

We are so grateful that the number of guests staying two nights or longer is increasing.

In fact, quite a few guests are staying for three nights, even if they are traveling alone.

The information that guests appreciate is the host’s information about local supermarkets.

Especially solo travelers, those with longer itineraries, often want to keep costs down, particularly for food.

Our advice to such guests is information about supermarket sales.

ZARU SOBA (buckwheat noodles), INARI SUSHI, and GOMOKU ONIGIRI for total 189 yen (excluding tax).

Incidentally, the original price was 756 yen.

Finding prices this low is truly a lucky case, but most guests enjoy shopping at reasonable prices.

Many guests want to experience life like a local resident, so shopping like this seems to be an enjoyable experience for them.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

最近のゲストさんの傾向として、増えてきているのが、、、

連泊！

二泊以上のゲストさんが増えていてありがたいばかりです。

なかにはおひとり様で三泊されるゲストも少なくありません。

そんなゲストさんに有り難がられているのが、宿主のスーパーマーケット情報。

特にソロ旅行で、全体の旅程が長期になる方は、できるだけ食費等コストを抑えたい方が多いようです。

そうしたゲストさんにアドバイスするのがスーパーの安売り情報。

一例として画像にあげたのは、、、

ざるそば、いなりずし、五目おむすびで189円（税抜）。

ちなみに本来価格は756円です。

ここまで安いのは本当にラッキーな場合ですが、そこそこ安くお買い物を楽しんでいただいています。

ローカルな住人のように生活体験したいゲストも結構多いので、こうしたお買い物は楽しい経験になるようです。
