The last entrance ceremony will be held soon

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The cherry blossoms are also beautiful in this town this week.

Across Japan, the place where cherry blossoms are quite beautiful in general is schools.

The cherry blossoms were also in full bloom at the school in this area where our guesthouse is located.

However, this school building will no longer be used after this fiscal/school year.

In other words, this year’s entrance ceremony will be the last one held at this school building.

This is a sad result of the declining birthrate and aging population.

It would have been nice if the last entrance ceremony could have been held with the cherry blossoms in full bloom, which bloomed late, but it’s disappointing that there is a high possibility that they will be scattered due to this rain.

まもなく最後の入学式

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今週はこの町も桜が綺麗です。

日本全国共通して、さくらがきれいな場所といえば、やはり学校。

当宿のあるこの地域の学校でもさくらが咲きほこっていました。

でも、この校舎は本年度をもってそれ以後は使われなくなる予定です。

つまり今年の入学式がこの校舎での最後の入学式になります。

少子高齢化の影響ですが、哀しいですね。

開花遅めだったさくらが満開の状態で最後の入学式を迎えられると良かったのですが、この雨で散ってしまう可能性大で、とても残念です。

それでは、たとえ雨でもおめでたくて素敵な一日を！
