Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The noodle vending machine has a charm that makes me fall in love with it, just like that GAIJIN.
It was so much fun that I decided to look for a vending machine spot on my return trip and visit it.
The second spot this time was an unmanned drive-in in the Chugoku region.
The exterior has already Showa retro atmosphere.
When I opened the door, I found the vending machine.
I tried the KITSUNE SOBA noodle here.
The taste of the soba was OK, but this spot was a disappointment
Because the whole building smells like cigarettes. The ceiling was brown with tar.
In a sense, this spot brought back memories of this kind of place where vending machines were originally located.
So, the next day, I visited this last spot before heading back to Kanmon to cleanse my palate.
Actually, I’ve been to this spot twice in the past to use the vending machines, but they’re always sold out.
There was a notice posted explaining the price change due to the rising cost of raw materials, but the udon was quite delicious.
When it came out, all I could see was only noodles and soup, so I thought it was a miss, but the tempura was hidden under the udon.
Although it is a vending machine, the contents are prepared by the person in charge of the machine, and the quality varies depending on the store.
I would love to come across some delicious noodles.

ハズレとアタリ！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
なんかあのガイジンのようにハマってしまった感のある麺類自販機。
あまりに楽しいので、復路のルート上にある自販機スポットを探して訪ねてみました。
今回二箇所目のスポットは中国地方のとある無人ドライブイン。
外観からすでに昭和レトロ。
ドアを開けるとあるある、例の自販機が、、、
こちらではきつねそばをいただいてみました。
そばのお味はまあまあでしたが、こちらのスポットは「ハズレ」！
なぜなら建物全体がタバコ臭いから。天井はヤニで茶色になっていました。
ある意味、本来自販機が置いてあるのはこういうところだったなぁ、と記憶を引き出してくれたスポットとなりました。
というわけで、翌日、口直しにと関門に戻る前の最後のスポットに訪問。
実はこちらのスポット、過去にも二度自販機を利用しに来たことがあるのですが、いつも売り切れ。
今回は日のあるうちに訪れたことで、ようやく食べることができました。
原材料高騰のための価格改定の説明書きが貼られていましたが、いうだけあってなかなか美味しいうどんでした。
出てきた時は麺しか見えなかったので、失敗かと思いましたが、天ぷらがうどんの下に隠れていたのでした。
自販機とは言っても、その中身は機械の管理者が準備していて、そのお店によってクオリティは異なります。
美味しい麺に巡り会いたいですね。
