Recently in Japan, we are hearing similar news about car crash into police dept. and fire dept.
Such news was reported in this town,
that a truck crash into post office.

Not only such car accident, some other similar incidents and accidents have been happened in this country
such as:
“Robbery in daytime (related to Dark part-time job)”
“Indiscriminate killing”
“Special fraud cases targeting the elderly people”
“Serious accidents caused by elderly drivers”
“Youth suicide” and so on.
The list of titles is endless.
We cannot have any feeling that neither government nor society are able to take decisive countermeasures against these problems.
So we can easily imagine that similar accidents and incidents will increase from now on and we must be careful not to get caught by these troubles.
We must be careful not only for ourselves, but also for our families and even our guests from overseas who are unfamiliar with the actual situation in Japan, by weaving such topics into the conversation to call attention.

わが町でも負けじと？ 噂の現場
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
最近、日本では、警察署や消防署に暴走車が突っ込むという事件がよく報道されてます。
そんな話題に乗り遅れまいとしているのか、我が町でも、、、
今週、郵便局に突っ込んだようです。トラックが、、、

こんな事故のみならず、ここ数年日本では、まるで模倣でもしたかのように似たような事件が何件も起こっています。
一例を挙げれば、
「日中からの強盗騒ぎ」（闇バイトがらみ）
「無差別殺傷事件」
「高齢者を狙った特殊詐欺」
「高齢ドライバーによる重大事故」
「若年層の自殺」
とタイトルを挙げるだけでもキリがありません。
残念なことに、社会も行政もこれらの問題に対して決定的な歯止め対策を講じることができている感はゼロです。
これからも同様の事故・事件は増えるであろうことから、巻き込まれないように心がけなくてはならないようです。
自らはもちろん、家族、さらにはこうした国内の実情に疎い海外からのゲストさんたちにもさりげなく注意を促すように、会話の中に織り込んでいきたいと考える今日この頃です。
