View not like usual!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the weekend, the view we saw during we were waiting for our guests’ arrival was not like usual.

We saw two big ferry boats at the international port on the other side of Kanmon strait. They were boats of KampuFerry(PugwanFerry). Usually each ferry parked at both Shimonoseki and Busan one by one. But boat from ferry boat could not leave Shimonoseki, due to the typhoon Lingling.

In this morning, the next typhoon is attacking Tokyo metropolitan, center of Japan now. It is coming in the middle of Monday commuting time.

いつもと違う風景！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この週末、ゲストがいらっしゃるまでの間、ここから見えた景色はいつもとは少し違っていました。

対岸に見える国際港に大型フェリーが二隻！
関釜フェリーです。通常は対岸の下関と韓国の釜山にそれぞれ一隻づつ停泊しているものですが、台風によるしけで下関からの便が出向できなかったようです。

今朝は次の台風が関東地方を直撃しています。週明けの通勤時間直撃のようです。

The stay of one family

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This week, we have family guests who are parents and a child.

It is their travel, but they were not excited very much.
Father and son were talking quietly in this dining room.
I said child but he is 20 years old.

The son was eating desert alone and told me.
“I am going to join army on Aug 19th, after this travel.”

Organizing photos of them smiling with Kanmon strait background, I thank that I am living in the country without military service. And same time I think that there is no meaning in working for nation, company and conjecture over the life on the anniversary of Japanese surrender.

Three years have passed since I resign from the company.
I think that “Kamikaze Attack” and “Death/Suicide from overwork” are same recently. Am I strange?
Banzai for Korean, Japanese and people of east Asian countries who are woking hard with drinking energy drink.

ある家族を見ていて

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今週、ご両親と息子さんという家族のゲストが滞在されました。

旅行というのに浮かれた感じはなく、夜も父子で静かに話されていました。
子供といっても年齢は二十歳。大人の旅行のようでした。

息子さんが一人デザートを食べながら上手な英語で話してくれました。

この旅行が終わって帰国後８月１９日に兵役で入隊するんだと。

海峡をバックに笑顔で写る彼らの画像を整理しながら、
兵役のない日本に住むことのありがたさと、同時に、
国や会社、忖度のため、命をかけてまで「働く」ことの無意味さを
ひしひしと感じる敗戦記念日です。

会社人を辞めてから三年半。
特攻と過労死・過労自殺がダブって見える自分はどこかおかしいのでしょうか。
ビタミンドリンクを飲んでまで仕事する韓国人・日本人・東アジア人万歳！

Can not live there any more!

Good morning to the World, Tokyo and Kanmon!

Tokyo, where I was last week.

I transited JR train at Shinjuku station after I met with my friend at Ikebukuro weekday evening. A commuter rapid train for OTSUKI was delayed ONLY 5 min. As the result, platform of the station was full of people.

(I tried to take the picture of the situation. But I gave up to do so, as I felt risk to drop down myself to railway. So I took after passengers rode on the train.)

Just after the train left, the platform was full of people again. The next train I rode on was also full of people and no space to breath.

That may be everyday thing for people working in Tokyo, but it is unbelievable situation for us who lives in local city in Japan.

On the contrary, 17:30 train still has seats for us to sit down in our home town. I don’t talk about Hita-Hikosan (very local) line. I am talking about Kagoshima line, the main JR line in Kyushu.

こんなとこもう住めないっ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門、東京にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

先週までいた東京。
たまたま平日夕方 池袋に用事があって行った帰り。
新宿でのJR乗り換え。

大月行き特快がたった5分遅れただけで、ホームは大勢の人で溢れます。

（その様子をカメラに収めたかったけど、変に動くと線路に落ちる危険を感じて断念。乗客が特快に乗り込んだところでパチリ。）

特快出発後、ホームはまた人ですぐにいっぱいになり、その後の快速も押せ押せのすし詰め状態。

通勤している人には日常茶飯事なのでしょうが、久々にこの光景を見ると「異常」のひとことに尽きます。

対して、わが町では17:30に電車に乗ってもまだ座るスペースがあります。いえいえ日田彦山線ではありません。鹿児島本線でです。
