Flower Life is so Short that..!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Weather in Kanmon area has been no good in two consecutive days.

Because of this weather, best time to see FUJI(wisteria) flowers seem to be over now.

Since I checked the garden two weeks ago, I’ve felt that FUJI flowers bloom very short period of time as well as SAKURA (cherry blossoms).

At the beginning, I wondered that flowers were so slow blooming.
But soon they started blooming all at once. And tremendous visitors (include tourists from foreign countries) started coming to the garden. I think that it is very difficult for foreign traveler to get pre-sale ticket to the garden.

And even if we get tickets, it may have possibility for us visiting too early or too late to the best timing. Or we cannot ride on the shuttle bus because of too many people. Or we wonder if we came to see Flower or People.

In such condition, all guests of TOUKA, who has been contacting with us earlier about going Fuji Garden, have satisfied watching the flowers.

I am thinking that we will prepare next year also for the guests who want to see best SAKURA blossoms or FUJI flowers.

So please keep contacting with TOUKA for watching the very best view of Japan.

花の命は短くて、、！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

火曜日に荒天、水曜日は曇天、関門エリアでは二日続いて天気がイマイチです。

そのせいもあってか、この時期期間限定の観光スポット「藤園」は一瞬にして見頃を過ぎてしまったようです。

思えば下見に行ってから二週間あまり、桜と同様に「花の命は短い」ことをあらためて実感する今日このごろです。

なかなか開花が進まないなあと思っていたら、あっという間に五分咲き、そして満開と、あれよあれよと見頃を迎え、外国人を含む大勢の観光客が押し寄せてました。整理前売り券の入手から外国人観光客にはなかなか難しかったのではなかったかと感じています。

またチケットを入手できても、来園タイミングが見頃と合わなかったり、満員でシャトルバスに乗れなかったり、入園したはいいけれど、花を見ているのか・人を見ているのかわからない状態だったりして、ザンネンな経験をされた方も少なくなかったみたいです。

そんな状況の中、ここ「灯火」に滞在されたゲストのうち、早くから「藤の花見」を相談された方々はそこそこ満足できるお花見をされたように思います。

来年も「桜」や「藤」については、綿密に状況を調べてゲストさん達に的確な訪問をアドバイス出来るようにしていこうと考えています。

今年「ベリー・ベストな日本の風景」を見れなかった方は、来年は是非とも早くから「灯火」にコネクトしてくださいね。
