Good morning to our reliable supporters!
We are still learning to be a good hostel but
moving picture (video) was produced lately and
broadcasted at unbelievable place!

Yes! on the wall of the building,
An huge electronic billboard above “GYU-KATSU” restaurant,
where a lot of guests have been visiting.
The video as produced under supervision of Dentsu Inc.,
the largest advertising agency in Japan.
And the sponsor is the city of Kitakyushu,
the most positive group of people in this area.
We will announce again when English version will be released.
This big billboard will show the video until middle of this week.
If you have plan of shopping or buying souvenirs in Kokura,
please stop by this billboard and watch the video, with biting famous SUNNY PAN or OMURETTO of SHIROYA bakery.
We understand this video as a present of our one year anniversary.
I feel ashamed a little, to be on the video, but I decided myself to make this guesthouse much more comfortable for our guests.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
当宿「灯火」をご利用いただいたゲストの皆さん、
おはようございます。
そして支えてくれている皆さん、
おはようございます。
宿としてはまだまだ課題も多い「灯火」ですが、
皆さんにご利用・ご支援いただいているおかげで、
「灯火」でのおもてなしの様子が3分弱の動画に集約されて、
とんでもないところで放映されています。

そうです、小倉の街中・駅前、あの店の上。
ゲストの何人もが訪れている牛カツ屋のビルの大型ビジョンです。
動画制作には、今話題の国内最大手広告代理店「電通」が入り、
スポンサーはエリア最大規模のポジティブ集団「北九州市役所」です。
英語版がリリースされ次第、あらためて広報しますが、
大型ビジョンでは今週中頃まで放映されるそうです。
小倉での買い物の際、お土産ショッピングのついでに、
観光客にも人気の「シロヤ」のオムレットやサニーパンでもかじりながら是非御覧ください。
開業して１年の記念となったこの動画、
画像に映っている宿主としてはなんとも恥ずかしいばかりですが、
これからも利用者によろこんでいただける宿を目指し、日々精進してゆく所存です。
