Feel the Time of Change!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the little guesthouse TOUKA looking down Kanmon Strait,
appearance of our little garden is changing now.

Sunflowers, entertained our eye and camera lens for SNS pictures with its cheerful yellow color, finished its blooming season.

Above the bowing flowers which we are waiting to harvest its seeds,
bunch of red dragonflies start flying.

Hot summer stays here but we can see a little autumn in summer sky.
(Red dragonfly is a symbol of autumn in Japan.)

Please come to see such Kanmon area in shifting season.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

関門海峡を望む当宿ちいさいゲストハウス「灯火」では、

庭の様子が変わり始めています。

元気カラーでゲストの目とSNS用の画像を楽しませてくれた
ひまわりの花が咲き終わり、
種の採取待ちになって頭を垂れている上を、

何匹もの赤トンボが飛び回っています。

猛暑は続きますが、秋がチラッと顔を見せ始めています。

そんな関門を見に是非いらして下さい。

Scenes of Summer at TOUKA

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Hot days and sultry nights are continuing here in Kanmon area.

Last night was specially hot without wind from ocean.

When we looked down the stairs,

there are usual ferry boats, running on time as usual.
The lights reflected on smooth surface of water fluctuating slowly.

mellowsummer03 （22:00 Matsuyama – Kokura ferry)

And sound of fireworks could be heard from far away.

In August, we could see/hear fireworks somewhere near here.

灯火、夏の情景

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

暑い日、寝苦しい夜が続きますが、、、

昨晩は珍しく海風も吹かず、さらに暑く感じられました。

窓から海峡を望むと、

いつもの時間に、いつものフェリーが走っていきます。 mellowsummer02 (20:00 関釜フェリー）

（22:00 松山小倉フェリー）

風がない分、水面に映る船の光が穏やかにゆらいで見えます。

そして、遠くからは花火の音も聞こえてきます。

8月に入ると、毎金・週末、
どこかであがる花火が見える／聞こえてくる、、、

「灯火」の夏の情景はこんな感じです。

Important thing for Japanese children of next generation!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

A family with small children used TOUKA.

According to them, they have used Guesthouse for every year family trip.

Their kids don’t mind about roommates in same guest room.
And they feel natural staying with foreigners.

As I have seen business men, who cannot communicating well and
workers, who cannot talk to foreign people,
I felt that these kids will become important people who will lead Japan.

As a real matter, cost to stay is reasonable and
I believe travel with using guesthouse is very unique and interesting.

これからの日本の子供に必要なこと

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今回、子供をつれた日本のご家族が「灯火」をご利用になりました。

聞けば、家族旅行はもっぱらゲストハウスご利用とのこと。

相部屋同室者にも物怖じしない、
外国人がいてもそれが当たり前の感覚になっているそうです。

いい大学を出ていても、人間関係出来ない会社員、
外国人に怖じ気付くにっぽんのビジネスマンをずっと見てきたので、

これからはこんな子供達が世の中を動かすようになるんだろうなと真剣に感じました。

実際、コストも安上がりだし、面白い旅が出来ると思うんですが、、、
