Must go there together!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Wisteria garden, the most recommending spot in this season.

Our guest, who didn’t know the garden until check-in here, was interested in the garden. So we went to convenience store to get ticket. However all tickets for first half of coming Golden Week were sold out, unfortunately.

Wisteria garden is so popular nowadays.

But if you go to such a deep forest, you had better to go not only the garden, but also this place, which is only 5 min walk distance from the garden.

It is only one day-spa-facility with natural hot spring in this city. We can be relaxed in hot spring there, watching up highest peak in this city.

Restaurant in this facility serves reasonable and tasty menu.

As there are no other restaurant around the garden, not a few people are using this restaurant after watching wisteria garden.

That is the reason why there is not so many people in hot spring, but full of car in parking lot and full of people in the restaurant.

Our mind is healed by beautiful flower,

Our body is also healed by warm hot spring, and

Our stomach is healed by good food.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

市内屈指の季節スポット、今が見頃の藤園ですが、、、

現在滞在中のゲストが、全然知らなかったことと、とっても興味を持ったことから、いざ整理券をとコンビニに行ったところ、GW前半分については、ほぼ完売状態のようです。

そんな具合に今大人気の藤園、、、

ただ、そこだけ行くためだけに、はるばる山奥まで行くのはもったいない。
せっかく底まで行くのなら、藤園から徒歩5分ほどのこちらにも合わせて行くべきでしょう。

市内唯一の本格的日帰り温泉施設で、市内最高峰を裏側より見上げながら、温泉でゆったり、、、

実はこちらの施設内の食堂が比較的リーズナブルで、なかなか美味しいです。
周辺に食べるところがないために、藤園の帰りに食堂だけ利用する方も少なくないようです。

そのせいか、駐車場・食堂は人でいっぱいなのに、お風呂はガラガラでした。

美しい花に心が癒されて、

温かいお湯に身体も癒され、さらには

おいしい食事に胃袋まで癒やされて、、、

Now is the Best. Don’t miss the chance!

Continued from Thursday, it was fine day on Friday just before Golden Week Holiday in Japan.

As we could expect maximum sunlight, we went to the spot, where is most recommending place this time of a year.

One picture is worth a thousand words.
Please refer photos about latest condition of the garden.

Entrance fee is already 1,500JPY, which is the peak price of “best time to see”.

Early in the morning, you can take photo without anybody in your frame,
but I felt it was lack of sunlight.
Everything became shinny with the sunlight coming through wisteria trellis.

It depends on your favor and schedule, wisteria flowers without anybody or shining flower with blight colors.

According to the garden keepers, best time will be about one week after this.
As I could still see buds with the flower, the very best time will be a few days later, I believe.

It was same weekday, but I felt more people this year than last years.

Free shuttle buses are changed to bigger bus, I see more tourists came out from the bus.

The first free shuttle bus arrive after 8:30am but tour charter buses were arrived already before opening of the garden. That made more foreign tourists in the garden than local Japanese people.

今が最高、、、機会を逃すな！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

木曜に続き、連休直前の金曜日は良いお天気になりました。

陽の光がいっぱい期待できたので、、、

行ってきました。この周辺でイチオシの季節スポット！

百聞は一見に如かず、その状況は画像でご確認下さい。

4月27日現在、入園料は「見頃」のピーク設定、¥1,500となっています。

朝は人のいない園内を撮ることが出来ますが、陽の光が足りないと感じました。
藤棚を通して、日光が入ってくると、全てが色鮮やかに輝いて見えるようになります。

人の写り込まない状態を見たいか、花のきれいな状態を見たいか、
それぞれの好みと都合とに合わせて、訪園するのが良いでしょう。

係員の話では、見頃はまさに今。
ここから一週間持つか持たないかとのことでした。
まだつぼみも見られたので、あと二・三日で100％の開花になるように感じました。

同じ平日でも人出は、こころなしか昨年よりも今年のほうが多い気がしました。

無料のシャトルバスも、マイクロバスから、路線大型バスのチャーターになっていて、一度に大勢の個人客が到着していました。

シャトルバスは8:30頃からの到着ですが、観光バスは朝一番で到着しているものもあって、園内は外国語で話す人のほうが多いようです。

花の命は短くて、、！/ Flower Life is so Short that..!

Flower Life is so Short that..!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Weather in Kanmon area has been no good in two consecutive days.

Because of this weather, best time to see FUJI(wisteria) flowers seem to be over now.

Since I checked the garden two weeks ago, I’ve felt that FUJI flowers bloom very short period of time as well as SAKURA (cherry blossoms).

At the beginning, I wondered that flowers were so slow blooming.
But soon they started blooming all at once. And tremendous visitors (include tourists from foreign countries) started coming to the garden. I think that it is very difficult for foreign traveler to get pre-sale ticket to the garden.

And even if we get tickets, it may have possibility for us visiting too early or too late to the best timing. Or we cannot ride on the shuttle bus because of too many people. Or we wonder if we came to see Flower or People.

In such condition, all guests of TOUKA, who has been contacting with us earlier about going Fuji Garden, have satisfied watching the flowers.

I am thinking that we will prepare next year also for the guests who want to see best SAKURA blossoms or FUJI flowers.

花の命は短くて、、！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

火曜日に荒天、水曜日は曇天、関門エリアでは二日続いて天気がイマイチです。

そのせいもあってか、この時期期間限定の観光スポット「藤園」は一瞬にして見頃を過ぎてしまったようです。

思えば下見に行ってから二週間あまり、桜と同様に「花の命は短い」ことをあらためて実感する今日このごろです。

なかなか開花が進まないなあと思っていたら、あっという間に五分咲き、そして満開と、あれよあれよと見頃を迎え、外国人を含む大勢の観光客が押し寄せてました。整理前売り券の入手から外国人観光客にはなかなか難しかったのではなかったかと感じています。

またチケットを入手できても、来園タイミングが見頃と合わなかったり、満員でシャトルバスに乗れなかったり、入園したはいいけれど、花を見ているのか・人を見ているのかわからない状態だったりして、ザンネンな経験をされた方も少なくなかったみたいです。

そんな状況の中、ここ「灯火」に滞在されたゲストのうち、早くから「藤の花見」を相談された方々はそこそこ満足できるお花見をされたように思います。

来年も「桜」や「藤」については、綿密に状況を調べてゲストさん達に的確な訪問をアドバイス出来るようにしていこうと考えています。

今年「ベリー・ベストな日本の風景」を見れなかった方は、来年は是非とも早くから「灯火」にコネクトしてくださいね。
