Lately, guests are keep coming to this place and staying in this little guesthouse.

It is like ships, led by the light of this lighthouse in this Kanmon strait.

船、そしてゲスト、ともに光に導かれて！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

最近になって、ようやくこのちいさいゲストハウスをゲストに絶え間なく訪れていただけるようになりました。

その様子は、まるでちいさな灯台の光に導かれて関門海峡を進む船の姿のようです。

あの男がやってきた？！/ The Man came to stay?!

The Man came to stay?!

The man was associated with this land, Kanmon.

The man was known by all Japanese men/boy.

“VAGABOND”

Yes, The SAMURAI, Musashi Miyamoto.

 

The guest reacted a lot,

when I show the Ganryujima from guest room, and

when I explain replica of Musashi’s Katana (Sward).

So I asked him and found out that he is a great fun of Musashi.

His appearance may come from Musashi.

So I brought him to the place, not Ganryujima, but associated with Musashi, on the way to Kokura where I have work to do.
And he liked the place.

It is really good to share the experience of place/person who I like with somebody else.

あの男がやってきた？！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この土地にゆかりのある男、、、

日本男子なら誰でも知っている男、、、

そう、宮本武蔵。

 

そのゲストさん、、、、

ゲストルームから見える巌流島を説明した時、

海鼠透し鍔の「和泉守藤原兼重」レプリカを見た時、

オーストラリア人にしては、思いがけない反応をしていたので、
聞けば、やっぱりバガボンド・ファンでした。

その風貌は、やっぱり意識しているのかも、、、

せっかくなので、小倉に用事があるついで巌流島ではない、武蔵ゆかりの場所へ案内すると、とても喜んでくれました。

自分のお気に入りの（ガイドブックに載っていない）シークレットスポットを誰かに喜んでもらえるのは悪くないですね。

ＹＯＵは変だよ にっぽん人！ / YOU are weird, Japanese!

YOU are weird, Japanese!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Every time I talked with guest from foreign countries, I realized many thing unexpectedly.

This week, we had a guest from France, Europe.
He is a handsome and polite French, who values his family very much.

He stayed here just one night but we talked pretty much.

Chatting with him about Japanese nation who love France much made me realize that French-like-words posted at various places are weird for real French people. Of course, I cannot feel this but it is really weird, according to him.

If you are a fun of France, you’d better check yourself.
(It seems that some bakery and cafe are weird.)

ＹＯＵは変だよ にっぽん人！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここにいて、ゲストと話していると、毎回といっていいほど想定外の気付きがあります。

今週滞在された、ヨーロッパはフランスからのゲストさん。
家族を大切にする素敵なイケメンでした。

一泊だけの短い滞在でしたが、意外といろいろ話せました。

彼と日本人のフランス好きについて話していて気付いたのは、街のいたるところに使われているフランス語っぽい変な表現。もちろん自分には分かりませんが、結構ヤバいらしいのです。

フランス好きの方は、気をつけたほうが良さそうですね。
（パン屋とか、カフェとか、ヤバいみたいですよ。）

それでは、一見お洒落のようで、見る人がみるとダサい、とならない素敵な一日を！
