The Idea I learned is important thought I will keep in my mind!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Yesterday, the Olympic Winter Games at Pyeongchang, Korea was closed.

People in Japan are excited about the number of medals Japanese athletes could achieved to get.
However, what I was impressed during the Olympic was not the number of medals.

The most admired and impressed thing was :

The relationship between Ms. Kodaira Nao and Ms. Lee Sang Hwa (Speed Skaters).

Original relation was strong rival who fight each other for Gold Medal.
But it seems they have built strong friendship beyond the relation as a rival and the border.

So in this guesthouse TOUKA,
Original relation was business between host and guest, exchange money and sleeping space.
But we want to make effort to build relationships of mutual trust beyond business and money.

We realized the importance of relationship, watching two athletes on ice.

This does not mean relationship with all.
As Ms. Kodaira doesn’t have strong friendship with all skaters,
we want to build strong relation with certain people of all guests.
We hope as many as we can.

The people may be guest from Korea, or guest from other countries.

But it is sure there is no border or limitation called country of “Japan”.

学んだこと、心に刻んだ大切なこと！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

昨日、韓国で開催されていた冬季オリンピックが閉幕しました。

今回は日本選手のメダル数が過去最高だと盛り上がっていますが、
自分が感心したのはメダルの数ではありませんでした。

このオリンピックで自分が一番 感心そして感動したのは、、、

小平奈緒選手と이상화選手の関係。

「金」メダルを競って、激しく戦うライバルの関係にありながら、
そんな関係や国境をも越えて、友情で結ばれていることが話題になりました。

当宿「灯火」でも、、、

お「金」＝宿泊費を介して、ゲスト・ホストの関係にありながら、
その関係や国境をも越えて、信頼関係で結ばれる、、、

自分はそんなつながりを広げていきたいんだなぁと
氷上で支え合う二人のアスリートを見て気付かされました。

決して、誰とでも、ということではありません。
小平選手が全てのライバル選手とでも友達ではないように、
自分も当宿を利用されたゲストの中から、
少しでも多く強い信頼関係を築ける人を作りたいと思います。

その相手は韓国人かもしれません、その他の国の方かもしれません。

間違いないのは、そこに「日本」をいう枠はないということです。
