The Superb view, we cannot see this year?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

With the trigger when the cherry tree in this neighborhood is fully blooming, I went out to take some pictures of super Sakura view of this town.

However, I found out there that we cannot see the view this year.

Please see the view with picture I took last year.

(There were some more people there who were disappointed like me.)

Now I share the reason why we cannot see and frequent happening bad behavior of this area.

As of today, we cannot go into the lighthouse area, because its stair way as the only access route is under construction. I asked the constructor and he replied me “It takes about two more weeks to complete the stair way.”
But the construction period was clearly announced as “until March 2nd” on the board.

The original play of reopening Mar.3 is well-made because it matches with the Cherry Blossoms blooming. However they cannot complete it by that due and similar over-due have happened often in this area.

There is “THE BEST TIMING” for everything but it seems that local people don’t know and doesn’t care about it.

For example, renewal of the bride on the national road near here is never finished and it create traffic jam every morning and every weekend. The renovation of historical station building, which was originally built in same year as Tokyo station was postponed its completion.The original plan was matched with increasing travelers from foreign countries. As tourists including our guests disappointed with the station and we feel sorry about it every time.

Repeating such a small disappointment demotivates people’s (tourists’) mind, didn’t it?

今年見ることのできない絶景とは？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

宿のすぐ下の早咲き桜が満開になったのを見て、この町のとっておきの桜を撮りに行こうと勇んで出かけました。

ところが行ってみて、今年はその桜と絶景が見れないことが分かりました。

まずは昨年の画像からその絶景を御覧ください。

その場所の名は部崎（← 地元以外で読めたらスゴいかも）といいます。

自分以外にも見に行って残念がっていた人がいらっしゃいました。

そして、満開の桜と灯台とが今年見れない理由と、この地域によく見られる残念な対応を共有します。

現在、灯台周辺へはアクセスできる階段が全面工事中のため入れません。
現場のオジさんに聞いたところ「あと2週間ぐらいはかかるだろうな」とのこと。
ちなみに、看板に明記されているように工事期間は3月2日までで、すでに1週間を過ぎています。

元々3月3日には工事を終わらせるという計画は、花の盛りまで考慮したものだと評価しますが、それまでに終わらないのが、とても残念なこの地区「あるある」です。

地元の人が気が付かない「その場所の旬」は完全に無視されているようです。

他にも例えば、近所の国道にかかる橋の架け替えもそうだし、大きなところでは、大正3年に東京駅に先駆けて完成した郷土自慢の駅舎のリノベーションも完成時期を延期しています。当初の完成は今押し寄せている海外からの観光客のピークに合っていたのに残念で仕方ありません。その間この駅を利用する観光客は、当宿のゲストさんも含めてとてもガッカリされています。

こうした些細なガッカリの繰り返しが、人の気持ちを削いでいくのにね。
