The place to be witness the new birth

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

One day before lunch, when I was working in my office,
I heard the sound of fireworks.

And sound of horn from several ships came after it.

I ran up to the observatory room of 2nd floor and watched outside.
And I saw the ship was being pulled out from dock.

She was displayed with the flags of all nations.
I can also see a decorative paper balls on her bow.

Yes, it seems to be her launching ceremony.

Here I believe that I can see whole picture of her clearer than the other side of the strait.

I sometimes feels happy about working in this place where this kind of scene can be seen.

新しい誕生に立ち会える場所

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

あらためて、この場所をユニークだなぁと感じる出来事がありました。

お昼前、仕事をしていると、窓の外から花火の音。

続いて、一度に何艘もの船の汽笛の音が長く響きます。

あわてて二階に上がり、展望室から眺めると、
対岸のドックからゆっくり船が出てきているようです。

万国旗でディスプレイされて、船首にはくす玉も見えます。

そう、新艇の進水式のようです。

きっと造船所がある対岸で見るよりも、ハッキリと船の全体像を望むことができます。

時折こんな光景が見れるこの「職場」、悪くないなぁとつくづく感じました。
