Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Christmas has passed quickly.
We have only house cleaning and new year eve left.
and the new year will start.
How will you enjoy coming new year day?
Here at TOUKA, we will …
*Count down at our port town,
*Enjoy horn from ships and fireworks,
*Go back TOUKA and take a nap,
*Start climbing up backyard mountain before dawn
*Watch the new year’s rising sun, and
*Pray for health and good lucks.
(We enjoyed first sunrise which have two stages, Hybrid. It was really beautiful and divine moment.)
Coming New Year Eve 2017-2018, our guests who will stay in Japanese room already agreed to go together, and we still have vacancy in female dormitory.
I am also curious about how our guests will react with ZENZAI served at the top of mountain.
Don’t you enjoy New Year in port town and the place with full nature?
I feel something good and lucky will happen there.
(Now, I am looking back this year, and find out there is so many good and lucky thing this year. It might because of the fireworks and first sunrise.)

火昇り、日出づる地より、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
あっという間にクリスマスも過ぎ去り、、、
残すところ、大掃除と、大晦日！
そして新年元旦！！
さて、どんな年越しをなさいますか？
ここ「灯火」では、、、
大晦日は港でカウントダウンの後、
時報と同時に船からの汽笛、
そしてニューイヤー花火を楽しみます。
そして、いったん宿に戻り、仮眠の後、
夜明け前の裏山に登り、海からのご来光に一年の健康と幸運とを祈願します。
（ちなみに今年の初日の出は二段階のハイブリット。とっても綺麗でお得なご来光でした。）
来たる年越し2017-2018ですが、すでに和室に滞在予定のゲストさん達と、花火・日の出ともに一緒に行くことになっています。女性ドミトリーにはまだ空きがあります。
山頂で振る舞われる「ぜんざい」に外国人ゲストがどんな反応するかも、いまから楽しみです。
港町と自然を満喫する年越しで、新しい年を迎えてみませんか？
まづは火昇り、日出づる地よりはじめよ。
なんかいいこと起こる一年になる気がします。
（振り返ってみると、今年2017年はとっても良い年でした。花火と初日の出のおかげかもしれません。）
