Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As we could see beautiful moon on the sky, we observed it with guest’s kids last night.

We thought that elementary school girls aren’t interested in astronomical observation, but they might be interested in the beauty of moon, the beauty of nature. They keep looking in to the telescope.

This astronomical telescope working so good in TOUKA. We bought it at the flea market shop, managed by the sister of my high school alumni.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

昨日の夜は、月がキレイだったので、子供連れのゲストと一緒に天体観測です。

天体観測なんて小学生の女の子には興味がないと思っていたら、美しいものに対する感心は高いようでずっと見ていました。

高校の同級生の妹が出店していたフリマで買った天体望遠鏡が「灯火」で大活躍しています。

Before it came to Kitakyushu, Fukuoka airport was struck and damaged. So it had to close its runway for a while.

TOUKA has a guest who will check out this morning and schedule to get flight today. She worried that Kitakyushu airport become like Fukuoka.

北九州に先駆けて、福岡では落雷で空港の滑走路に被害が！
一時は離発着共にできなくなったそうです。

「灯火」にも本日チェックアウト後に、フライトを予定されているゲストがいらっしゃいます。福岡空港みたいなことにならないといいなぁと心配されていました。

The Most Exciting Day!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is happy morning, isn’t it?

In Japan, many kids bring wonderful present back home.
Yes! today is the last day of 1st semester and they will bring score card back home.
Starting next day, all schools will be in the summer vacation.

It may be in summer vacation in foreign countries.
We are planning to have several family guests staying this guesthouse.

In this Kitakyushu & Kanmon area, we have nice event for the vacation.

“Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festival”

The day, August 13 (Mon), there will be most tourists get together in this town.

Room for family is full the date in TOUKA, but we have room for female guests.

15,000 flowers of light will bloom on the summer sky of this strait’s both side.

一番エキサイティングな日！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

うれしい朝ですね。

素敵なプレゼントをもって子供たちが帰ってくる日。
そして明日から１ヶ月と１０日間かわいい子供たちとずっと一緒にいられる夏休みです。

海外でも子供たちは夏休みなのでしょうか？これから何組か家族連れがいらっしゃる予定です。

ここ北九州・関門には、そんな夏休みにピッタリのイベントがあります。

それが関門海峡花火大会！（8月13日（月））

8月13日（月）はこの町一番の賑わいです。

すでに家族向けの部屋は満席ですが、女性用のドミトリーにはまだ空きがあります。

海峡両岸の夏の夜空に約15,000発の光の華が咲き乱れます。

それでは、どうぞ素敵な夏の思い出を子供たちに！
