More warm days than cold days and summer shorts are necessary for us in TOUKA.

(*They are called as beach sandals in Japan.)
It is very convenient for us to wear flip-flops when we cleaning guesthouse and drying our futons for the next guests.
Yes, this is our COOL BIZ in TOUKA.
I keep wearing them as our formal setting, even when I first welcome our guests for check-in.
But you had better not to wear cheap sandals.
This flip-flops cost more than leather shoes which young business men.
In the coming season, flip-flops may be good for our guests who walk around sightseeing spots, such as seaside Mojiko and Shimonoseki.
We want our guests to bring their favorite flip-flops in their luggages.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
日本ではこの春から気温の乱高下が続いています。
どちらかといえば、気温の高い日の方が多くて、灯火ではすでに半ズボンが欠かせません。
では、足元は、、、
やっぱりビーチサンダル、ビーサンです。
ゲストが出かけている間に、掃除や布団干しで屋内外を行ったり来たりするので、手軽に脱ぎ履きできるビーサンが重宝です。
そう、コレが「灯火」のクールビズ！
ゲストを迎える時にも必ず着用している正装です。
でも、安物のビーサンはいけません。
コレでもその辺の若いサラリーマンが履いている革靴よりはすると思います。
ゲストがメインの観光地となる門司港や下関を歩きまわるのも、これからのシーズンはビーサンが一番適しているかもしれません。
