From the West, To the East

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We talked with our guest with the sound of rain cats and dogs as BGM Wednesday night. It was quite warm morning on the next day, Thursday.

We saw that thermometer hanging in the garden was showing 15 degree C as of 10AM. And it got warmer later despite January coldest season in Japan.

Weather got bad afternoon, and our guest who woke up just before lunch could never see the blue sky and the strait, which is the most recommending things to see here.

The early bird gets the priceless reward here.

This warm climate will shift to KANTO (east of Japan, Tokyo area), via KANSAI (western Japan, Osaka area).

3. 西から東へ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

水曜深夜の滝のような雨をBGMに、ゲストと語り合った翌日、
木曜日の朝はモワッとした天気になりました。

庭に吊るしている温度計をみると、１０時AMの時点で１５度！
それからさらに気温はあがったのでした。１月なのに、、、

天気はお昼前から下り坂になり、お昼前に起きてきたゲストはこの宿一番のオススメの青空と海峡を見ることはありませんでした。早起きのお得は、、、プライスレス！

このモワッと、、、本日は関西経由で関東地方に流れていくようです。

Being well prepared!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Now, big and strong typhoon is moving toward Japan.

Natural disasters, such as earthquake and typhoon, are scary but it is difficult to prepare perfectly for them.

On the other hand, we have another fear of fire, as a guesthouse. However it is possible to prepare for fire.

Securing and clarifying evacuation routes is effective not only for fire but also for natural disaster.

This week, we got annual on-site inspection by the fire department of Kitakyushu city.

Of course, the result was no-problem and they proof us as a safe guesthouse with “no instructions are needed”, because we keep strong awareness of disaster prevention in daily basis.

It is our basic idea that safety/security and comfort are inextricably linked each other.

しっかりと備える！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今、大型で非常に強い台風が日本に向かっています。

地震や台風などの自然災害は怖いですが、それらに完璧に備えるのは正直難しいです。

宿泊施設にとって、自然災害と同様に怖いものに火災があります。こちらは予防が可能です。また避難経路の確保と明確化は自然災害時にも役に立ちます。

今週、北九州市消防局に立入検査を行っていただきました。

日々の防災意識の高さゆえ、結果はもちろん問題無し。「指示事項なし」とのお墨付きをいただきました。

安全・安心と快適は表裏一体というのが、当宿の基本的な考えです。

お盆過ぎたら、、、/ After OBON (summer) holidays

After OBON (summer) holidays

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After OBON (Japanese summer religious) holidays, temperature around Kanmon straits is going down to about 30 degree C at the highest.

About 30 degree … It is still hot as a temperature number, but we feel a little cool now. It may because our bodies had been in about 34 degree for weeks and our temperature sensor may start misrecognizing.

Please take care not to cool your enthusiasm down, as the temperature goes down. Keep your enthusiastic soul in your body!

お盆過ぎたら、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

お盆の週を過ぎたら、関門エリアでは気温が少し下がり、最高気温は３０度前後になりました。

３０度前後、、、気温としてはまだまだ高いのですが、ずっと３４度程の暑さに晒されていた体は温感がズレてしまっていて、３０度前後でもなんかずいぶん涼しくなったように感じてしまいます。

気温と一緒に気持ちの熱も冷めてしまい、ぬけ殻状態にならぬようご用心！
