Our important visitor

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was the mid day of this week. Weekly forecast said rain, but we kept having sunshine whole daytime.

On such Wednesday, we had a very important visitor here.

After talking about general questionnaire, we looked around all rooms of this guesthouse.

When he was leaving here, he handed me a piece of paper form.

Yes, he is an officer of fire department and came here to perform on-site inspection about our fire‐prevention equipment.

Of course, we don’t have any instructions from him to be improved.

We have thought every time of fire equipment maintenance and inspection like this time, that it is lucky that we have a guesthouse secured under Japanese Fire Service Act, Article #4.

Our sales point is comfortableness, however “Safety” has much more priority than that. We do invest for safety even under COVID-19 pandemic. Not like MINPAKU lodgings which have drastically increased in Japan for this one year, we have more safety with more strict rules under “Hotel Business Law”.

What is your number one priority for lodging?

大切な訪問客

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

週中日、当初雨の予報でしたが、日中はずっと太陽の恵みを感じることのできる一日でした。

そんな水曜日、当宿は大切な訪問客を迎えました。

ひと通り受付のあるダイニングでお話した後、客室をすべて見られて帰っていかれました。

帰る時に一枚の紙をいただきました。

そう、彼は消防局員、当宿の消防対策を立ち入り検査しにいらしたのでした。

もちろん当宿には指示事項などはありません。

毎春の防火設備の点検や、今回のような消防署の立ち入り検査のたびに思います。

消防法４条の規定で安全が確保される宿泊施設で良かったと。

当宿のウリである「快適さ」よりもさらに優先するのが「安全」。コロナ禍でもそのための投資はしっかり行います。ここ一年で広まった「民泊」とは異なり、本来の「旅館業法」で定められる施設だからこその「安心」がここにはあります。

さて、なにを優先されますか？
