Storm in winter

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Around midnight yesterday, it got heavy rain suddenly here in Kanmon area.

Rain was so heavy that water curtain prevented us from watching strait and the other side, but we could see small navigation lights of a ship moving.

Heavy rain also hit our lighthouse very hard.

Even in such rain, this lighthouse kept lighting toward the strait. And it looked so brave and encouraged us in same time. (This lighthouse is a good partner of us.)

(This rain will shift to Kansai area and later to Kanto area. We are praying no disaster will happen.)

冬の嵐

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

昨晩、深夜を過ぎたあたりから、ここ関門エリアでは急に雨が激しくなりました。

流れるような雨のカーテンのせいで海峡や対岸は見えませんが、かすかに船の航海灯が動いているのが見えます。

当宿のすぐ上の灯台にも容赦なく雨が打ちつけます。

こんな日にも、この灯台が一生懸命に海峡に向かって灯りを送り続けている姿がとても健気です。（この灯台、なんかイイ奴・ほんと良い相棒です。）

The Very Best Route!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

A student who is going to the university my daughter graduated stayed at this guesthouse this week.

Facing to first biggest difficulty of her life, which is job hunting, she seems to loosing her motivation toward the future. So we talked about life with watching cargo ship coming straight toward the lighthouse standing next to this guesthouse.

Finally she said she is going to pass the difficulty and she left her for the Kanmon Pedestrian Tunnel and went back to Tokyo.

We are praying that she will enjoy her best voyage of life.

最高の航路！

今週、娘が卒業した学校に通っている学生に当宿を利用いただきました。

就職活動という人生最初の難関に直面し、少し失速気味だった彼女と人生について語り合いました。当宿の灯台を目印に最適な航路を進む貨物船を見ながら、、、

彼女は「これから関門突破しますね」と宣言して、チェックアウト後「関門トンネル人道」を歩いて渡って、元いた町に帰っていきました。

Come out everybody under the moonlight!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is morning now, but topic about last night.

As our guest went day trip(?) to Miyajima, we thought they will come back very late and checked outside late at night. Full moon looks very pretty.

Because it is so pretty that I tried to take pictures of the moon. And I heard some sounds from the direction of the parking lot in front of this guesthouse.

I could not see it clearly but it was something like a small animal moving there.

It might be a raccoon? or a badger again? It might come out to see the moonlight.

Yes, it is guesthouse in Komorie, surrounded by full of nature.

つ つ 月夜だ、みんな出て来い！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

朝だけど、夜のお話。

宮島まで日帰りで(?)出かけていったゲストさん達。
お帰りはまだかと玄関から外に出ると、お月さまがとってもキレイでした。

あんまりキレイだったので、写真を撮っておこうとカメラを構えると、向かいの駐車場の方からなにやら物音がします。

暗くて良くはみえませんでしたが、小動物らしきものが動いているのが見えました。

月夜に誘われて、タヌキでも出てきたのかな、それともまたアナグマ？

そう、ここは自然味溢れる小森江の宿です。
