When the moon will wane

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As I mentioned on the previous article, this year’s harvest moon was so beautiful.

I saw it with our lighthouse at this guesthouse again this time.

But I found another good spot to view the moon, when it will wane and became crescent.

That was one day before full moon, but it was already beautiful. I wanted to try one of crescent swings there, But they were all occupied by some families with kids. so I abandoned.

I will try again when the moon will wane, hoping less people want to view the moon at the time of crescent.

月が欠けたら、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

先の記事でも取り上げましたが、今年の中秋の名月はとってもきれいでした。

今回も当宿から灯台と満月のコラボを見たのですが、

次に月が欠けて、三日月になったら月見をしたいスポットを見つけてしまいました。

今年は満月一日前の月もきれいで、この三日月型のブランコに乗ってみたかったのですが、お子様連れで満席(?)だったので諦めました。

月が欠けたらまた来てみよう！きっと三日月をお月見する人は少ないだろうと勝手に想像して、、、

A show for the first time in a long time! Homecoming?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We have rarely watch passenger ship’s night cruise since COVID-19 pandemic.

Our guest found it going through the strait with bright lights.

Is this one of the results of relaxing lockdown measures?

We do hope to see such scene more often here.

P.S. This ship was built by the ship builder on the other side of the strait.

ひさしぶりのショー！里帰り凱旋？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

コロナ感染拡大以来あまり見られなくなった、夜の客船航行。

ひさしぶりに光かがやく船体が東に流れていくのをゲストさんが見つけてくれました。

これも感染が落ち着いてきたことの影響でしょうか？

こんな光景をもっとみたいですね。

P.S. ちなみにこの船、２年ほど前に対岸の造船所で建造された船です。

想う / Worrying about our guests

Worrying about our guests

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As I mentioned, we have had various guests here in this guesthouse.

And we think about them more often than sometimes.

Just at that time COVID-19 pandemic all over the world, we are worrying about our guests and their countries.

Now the country we are most concerned about is our neighbor “Korea”, the biggest number of guest came from.

It seems that there are record-high for both newly infected and severely ill in Korea.

ご利用されたゲストさんたちのことを時折考えます。

折しもコロナ禍、各国の状況が心配です。

今、気になるのは、もっとも多く利用いただいたゲストの母国、韓国のこと。

新規感染者数、重症者数ともに過去最多とのこと。
