Typhoon JONGDDARI and Lucky Guests!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

“Typhoon JONGDDARI” came here on Monday through unusual course.
We worried about severe damage but it run through Fukuoka Pref. without leaving critical damage. We saw flowing rain water like small waterfalls on the road in front of TOUKA, but we don’t see any major damage on our facilities. Now we feel easy, seeing blue sky among the clouds.

On the Sunday, typhoon attacked here, we had a family guests checked out early morning. Recently most of Korean guests from Seoul use evening flight. So kids on the family looked very sleepy, when they got breakfast here. However, as the result, they were pretty lucky!

Because evening flight on Sunday to Seoul was canceled due to the typhoon.

Even if they enjoy traveling in Kitakyushu, they may have bad memory with cancellation of flight back home.

So their luck made us feel happy, as we concerned about their flight very much even after their check-out.

台風１２号とラッキーなゲスト！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

異例の西進路をとった台風１２号。
北九州への直撃が心配されましたが、上陸地点が少しそれた結果、急激な雨こそあれ、大きな被害はなく、福岡県を駆け抜けて行きました。「灯火」でも一時の玄関前の坂道が小滝のように流れていましたが、目立った被害もなくてホッとしています。

そんな台風来襲が心配された日曜日の朝、めずらしく朝便で帰国されるゲストの早朝チェックアウトがありました。眠そうな目をこすりながらチェックアウトする子ども達を見送りしているとなんだか可愛そうな気がしましたが、結果として彼らはラッキーでした。

実は最近の韓流ゲストが主に利用される夕方便、昨日は「欠航」だったからです。

楽しかった旅行も帰国する便が飛ばないと台無しになってしまいます。

ゲストがチェックアウトした後も気になっていたので本当に良かったです。
