Endless Summer in Kitakyushu?
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Yesterday was the last day of August.
I went to sea-water swimming school as I scheduled, and enjoyed the last water with sparkling sunshine of 2017.
Yes, September starts today.
In Japan, many things change today, with the end of the summer vacation in elementary school and middle school.
As of today, train for sight seeing in Mojiko is no longer operated everyday, but only in weekend.
Usually my summer also end in this timing.
However my summer will not end yet this year.
It is because I found a way to be in summer.
I newly noticed that this town is pretty convenient to go to the beach.
And I found that only 50yen and one hour drive bring me to fine beaches.
It seems that there’s only myself who gather at the beach for endless summer. They are rather excited about summer coming after this timing.
The first wave in a long time was pretty hard for me, but I believe that my power to paddle offshore and feeling to clear take-off will be back soon.
So I decided myself to go to the beach often, utilizing this location and my flexible work time.

夏は終わらない ～ エンドレスサマー？
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
昨日は8月最終日。予定通り塩水プールに行き、2017年の夏最後のキラキラ感を満喫してきました。
さあ、今日から9月。
日本では、小中学校の夏休みが終わるとともに2学期が始まり、町の様子はガラリと変わります。
昨日まで毎日運行していた観光列車も、今日からは週末のみの営業です。少し寂しい気もします。
昨年は自分の夏もこのタイミングで終わりました。
ところが今年の夏はまだまだ終わりません。
なぜなら夏のままでいられる方法を見つけたからです。
この夏あらためてこの町がとても便利なことに気付きました。
通行料わずか50円払えば、素敵なビーチへ1時間程度で行くことができるんです。
終わらない夏を求めて、そんなビーチに集うのは、どうも自分だけではないようです。
というより、彼等はこれから始まる夏をずっと楽しみにしていたと言う方が正しいのかもしれません。
ここ数回、久々の波はかなり大変でしたが、さらに数回通えば、沖に出る体力とテイクオフのカンは戻るでしょう。
地の利と勤務体制を活かして通ってみるつもりです。
