Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
As we always watch from the hill, I went to pier to see her closer on Sunday.
Not like super big boat, which carry huge number of Asian passenger, she has elegant and rich atmosphere.
Our town has many GAIJINs who are really like GAIJIN, though it has always has GAIJINs who are hard to distinguish from Japanese. So it seemed to become a one small European town the day.
Dining room, I can see through the window, is so elegant that I wondered if our food “Yaki Curry” can make them satisfied as their lunch.
It is not bad for us welcoming western ship which make different effect to this town.
Design of her funnels is familiar to the people, who has the cars with Sodegaura, Kitakyushu, specially Chikuho license plates.

海辺でフレンチどうでしょう？
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
いつも遠くから海峡通過を見ているので、たまには近くで見てみようと岸壁まで行ってみました。
大人数のアジア系乗客を乗せ、頻繁にやってくる超大型船とは違い、品のあるリッチな趣です。
いつもは顔立ちなどから日本人と区別のつきにくい外人が多いのですが、この日はガイジンらしい外人に溢れて、町もヨーロッパの港町に変わってしまった感じです。
船内、窓越しにみる食堂の様子も上品で、こんなところで食事をする人に「焼きカレー」はどうだろうとつい思ってしまいました。
欧米からの船の寄港、町にとっても刺激があって良いですね。
煙突のデザインも「袖ヶ浦（木更津）」「北九州」「筑豊」ナンバーの人には親しみを感じるものではないでしょうか？
