Long time no see!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
A face we’ve seen somewhere before was coming toward us.
Vivid blue hull. Yes, she is a luxury cruise ship, “Nippon Maru”.
We had seen her pretty often before pandemic, but we haven’t seen her lately.
( We may have just missed her a lot, but…)
Anyway, we could not see many passenger who gathered on her deck and bridge to see this strait towns. We could see only a few people there and they might be her clues.
I checked her cruising schedule in brochure and found out that now is just between 2 cruise plans “Seto inland sea cruise” and “Izu islands cruise”. So I guess that it might be a test cruise or a charter cruise.
When can we expect to see her again with bunch of passengers moving through the strait like used to be.

お久しぶりね！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
遠くからどこかで見たことのある顔が近づいてきた。
鮮やかな青い船体（ハル）、、、そう「にっぽん丸」
以前はよくこの海峡を通過していくのを見かけましたが、最近めっきりその姿を見ていませんでした。
（見逃していただけかもしれませんが、、、）
ただ、コロナ前のように、海峡通過を海上からひと目見ようとデッキやブリッジに大勢集まっている船客の姿はなくて、数人（乗務員？）が歩いているのが確認されたぐらいでした。
今月のクルーズ予定をみると、瀬戸内クルーズと夏休みの伊豆諸島クルーズの合間のようで試験運行か貸切運行だったのでしょうか？
以前のように大勢を乗せて、この海峡を通り抜ける姿を見るのはいつになるでしょう。
