The Coolest one! My precious memory was changed drastically!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Recently, there comes so many topics about ships on strait, seen from TOUKA.
So I introduce one more ship today. It is the coolest one!
The day I saw it was Wednesday last week. I noticed it because unusual ship moved in my sight.
It looked sharp and moved smooth and fast. But its body was painted very cute!
I also remember that I have ever board the ship before.
I found some pictures of this ship taken by myself.
It was summer 2010, between Hakodate, Hokkaido and Aomori.
I found interesting record/history of this ship, “Nacchan World”.
It used to be a commercial ferry boat.
But it is now operated under the contract with Japan Self-Defense Forces.
This ship “Nacchan World” carry automobile and other gears of elf-Defense Forces. She also carry a lot of people to protect Japan and sometimes rescue people from natural disaster.
Most cool thing is that Self-Defense Forces is using “Nacchan World” with cute paint design. This may be nice and unique camouflage for each activity.
For myself, it is quite strange that my precious summer memory got changed to Self-Defense matter.
I strongly hope that this “Nacchan World” will work effectively for the World Peace and Security.

ここで見た超かっこいい奴！化けちゃった夏の思い出！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
このところ当宿「灯火」から眺める海峡を通過していく船の話題が増えてます。
ついでといってはなんですが、もう一つ「超かっこいい奴」を紹介します。
その船が関門海峡を通ったのは先週の水曜日。
お昼前、見かけない物体が視界を横切ったので気が付きました。
いかにも早そうでシャープな船体。
なのに、とてもかわいいデザインに塗装されています。
実はこの船、以前乗ったことがあるんです。古い写真を探し出して確認しました。
それは2010年の夏、場所は函館〜青森間。
なんで今、青函フェリーが関門海峡に？！
調べてみると面白いことが分かりました。
このナッチャン、自衛隊車両や物資を高速輸送し、さらに人員輸送や避難所の代わりにも。
なんたって、このかわいいデザインのまま、自衛隊が使っているのがイケてます。
ある意味、最高のカムフラージュではないでしょうか？
自分にとっては、ひと夏の思い出が、国防ツールに化けた微妙な感じです。
「ナッチャンWorld」、平和や安全のために世界中で活躍してほしいですね。
