for my Mom before anything else

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

With my experience, we are making TOUKA an hostel where single parent family can stay casually.

I noticed one thing…

that young travelers grown up in single parent families have already come to stay here.

It may be because I talk about myself as a single father casually, they have talked back about themselves, family of single parent, and their worries.

I am surprised that there are not few young people grown up by single mother.

No matter their nationalities.
(It seems there are so many type/style of single mother families.)

But there is one common thing among them.
It is that they keep thinking to get gift/souvenir for their mom before anything else.

Recently I was asked by one guest about type of TAKUWAN (Japanese radish pickles) which is his mom’s favorite Japanese food.

I have felt that their relation (KIZUNA) is quite stronger than that of normal families.

TOUKA want to cheer such guests with tender hearts.

Thank you and you have a nice day, not relating too many, but relating strong with certain thing/person.

何はさておき おかあさんへ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

自身の経験から片親家族でも気楽に泊まれる宿を施行している「灯火」ですが、

あることに気付きました。

片親家族で育った若者たちが結構泊まりに来てくれていることに。

自分自身がシングルファザーであることをサラッと話すからか、
若者たちも家庭の事情や悩みを自然に打ち明けてくれたりします。

なかでも、シングルマザーに育ててもらった子供達が意外にもゲストに多かったりして驚いています。

それも国の内外を問わず、、、です。
（単にシングルマザーと言っても、事情はそれぞれで聞き入ってしまいます。）

ところが共通なのは、
彼等がおかあさんへのお土産を何にしようか一番に考えていることです。

最近、隣国のゲストから、おかあさん（オモニ）の好きな「たくわん」について種類とどこで買うのが良いか聞かれたりしました。

通常家族よりも「絆」強いなぁと感じるこの頃です。

「灯火」ではこれからも心優しいゲスト達を応援していきたいと考えています。

それでは、どうぞ繋がるべきところ強く繋がる素敵な一日を！

*個人的には「絆」という言葉の乱発に抵抗ありますが、この場合はピッタリです。
