From the other side

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Recently we have guests from the other side.

Guest who is living there, Guest who is stopped on the way back there and so on.
It seems that COVID-19 make opportunity for them to stay here.

It is bad infection but it doesn’t affect not only bad things.

We talked with the guests and we found that both of us have common senses in same hometown and Kanmon is one same living area in spite of two different prefectures.

Guests from neighbor town are better than relatives living far?

We do want to have more guests from Shimonoseki.

対岸の、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここのところ対岸のゲストさんによく利用いただいています。

住まわれている方、帰省された方などなど、何かしら新型コロナウイルスが関係してのご利用みたいです。

厄介な感染症ですが、悪い影響ばかりではないようです。

話をしてみると、どのゲストさんとも同郷的な共通の感覚があって、県こそ異なっても関門って同じ生活圏なんだとあらためて気付かされました。

遠くの親戚よりも、対岸からのゲスト！（あれ？）

もっと下関からのゲストさんにご利用いただきたいですね。

Praying for rain

It is raining as forecasted.

In the country, the opposite side of the earth, today is the independence day for them.
(To be exact, it is not the day yet, because of time difference.)

We heard that there won’t be any fireworks to celebrate the day.
I do hope that my forth hometown will recognize present condition, take right measure and be recovered from the spread of infection as soon as possible.
I wonder why they don’t corporate each other to fight against great evil for freedom and peace like their favorite Hollywood movies.

We cannot imagine that people in the world will move across the countries without that country’s recovery.

Thank you and you have a nice day to celebrate the Declaration of Independence from COVID-19 with all people on the earth.

雨に祈る

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

予報通り、雨の土曜日です。

今日は海の向こう、地球の反対側では「独立記念日」だったりします。
（正確には、時差のせいでまだその日にはなっていませんが、、、）

今年はお祝いの花火もなかったりするようですが、
第４のふるさとが、早く現状に認識し、正しい対策に着手し、１日も早い回復を遂げることを祈っています。
映画の世界ではみんなが力を合わせて自由と平和を実現するのが得意なのになぁ。

やっぱりかの大国の復活なくして、世界の人の流れが回復することはありません。

それでは、１日も早く世界中で同時にCOVID-19からの独立を宣言する素敵な一日を！

Step up toward freedom!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Today May 14th, Japanese government is planning to announce some change of emergency declaration about COVID-19 infection.

It seems that big cities like Tokyo and Osaka will be kept in emergent situation, but Fukuoka prefecture, where this guesthouse belongs to, will be out of emergency declaration.

We still have to refrain from unnecessary going out but this is one step toward normal condition.

Let’s expand our territory of each activity with taking care about infection.

How about going to the beach with less people than town or parks for your necessary exercise?

Now emerald ocean in the beach in Kitakyushu is shinning under summer sunny sky.

はれて、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では今日５月１４日新型コロナウイルス感染についての緊急事態宣言が見直される予定です。

東京や大阪など大都市は引き続き緊急事態状態を継続するようですが、当宿のある福岡県は緊急事態が解除されることになりそうだということです。これにより、ほとんどの業種での休業要請も解除される運びになりました。

不要不急の外出等は継続するとのことですが、これで一歩、通常状態に近づきます。

晴れて緊急事態宣言解除、各人で感染に気をつけながら、少しだけ活動の範囲を広げましょう。

不要不急に当たらない運動の場に、三密ではないビーチはいかがでしょう。
