I saw the Northern Limit!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The summer solstice of 2017 in Japan was June 21.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy on 21 and we couldn’t see the sunset from here.

So this is the closest sunset to the solstice sunset of 2017.

(Sunset, June 22 2017)

Since last winter solstice, sunset point moved a lot.

When I was a company business man, I didn’t know such a big difference in sunset point. Honestly speaking, I don’t care.

But now watching sunset so many times, I am surprising difference of sunset everyday, as well as the difference of sunset point.

Why don’t you stop and stare at sunset this evening.

ここが北限かぁ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

2017年の夏至は6月21日でした。

ところが残念なことに21日は曇りで、夕陽を見ることが出来ませんでした。

というわけで、コレが最も夏至に近い日、6月22日の夕陽になります。

皿倉山に沈んでいった冬至の日と比べると、その日没位置の違いに驚きます。

サラリーマンだった頃、日没位置にこれほどもの違いがあることを知りませんでした。
というより、全く気にしていませんでした。

それがここにきて夕陽を見ていると、毎日その様子が違うこと、沈む場所がこんなにも違うことに驚かされます。

夕陽なんか気にもしていないあなたも、今日はちょっと立ち止まり、ぼんやり夕陽を眺める時間を持ってみてはいかがでしょう。
