What I think now!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I did early retirement from company and opened this guesthouse.
Three years has passed since then. And I felt so quick about these three years.

After I experienced 3 years actually and concretely, I cannot get one idea out of my head.

There is 30 years left before the time which I decided to die. 30 years are only 10 times longer than these quick 3 years.

Oh, I got sweat now.

いま思うこと！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

サラリーマンを早期に卒業して、開業。
そこからの三年間はあっという間でした。

三年という時間の感覚を具体的に体感したことでひとつの想いが頭をよぎりました。

自分自身が決めた寿命まであと30年、、、ということは「あっという間」のたった10倍です。

あぁ、、、冷や汗（あぶら汗？）が出てきました。

にっぽんは島国ですっ！/ Japan is the Beautiful Island Country!

Japan is the Beautiful Island Country!

Good morning to the World, all over Japan and Kanmon!

In two weeks, I’ve driven and visited various highway service areas all over Japan but it was not the main purpose of my trip. Up to two years ago, I had visited Japanese old castles but now I am steering the handle, being grateful to this island country.

The coast line surrounding this islands have various face at each place.

They all had beautiful waves at Tosa(Kochi), Suruga(Shizuoka) and Hyuga(Miyazaki).

waves09Specially waves in the moonlight was really fantastic.

It is amazing thing that I am practicing a traveling style, which I had dreamed with listening Beach Boys and Yuming (Japanese legendary singer-songwriter), at the age around 50. I hope that I will have a chance to introduce such travel style to our guests.

にっぽんは島国ですっ！

世界中に朝が、にっぽん中に、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この二週間、いろんなSA/PAを利用しましたが、本当の目的はSA/PAではありません。一昨年まではお城巡りをしながら下道で東京まで行き来したりもしましたが、今ではにっぽんが島国であることを感謝しながらハンドルを握ります。

この島をぐるっと包む海岸線は、その場所場所でいろいろな顔をしています。

土佐、駿河、日向、どれも素敵な波でした。

なかでも月明かりに浮かぶ土佐の波はとても幻想的でした。

学生時代に憧れたユーミンやビーチ・ボーイズの歌のような旅を、この歳になってようやく実現できていることがなんかうれしくて仕方ありません。いつかこんなスタイルのにっぽんの旅をゲストにも紹介したいですね。

思いがけないアトラクション！/ Unexpected Happy Attraction!

Unexpected Happy Attraction!

Good morning to the World, Miyazaki, Oita and Kanmon!

Last article was about highway service/parking areas. Occasionally, I encountered with a happy attraction in one service area.

The place was in Kyushu, which has less service/parking areas.

I entered in the highway service area through ETC smart IC and took a break in the parking lot. And I saw a light-brown dog is walking cross in front of my car. It may be “Shibainu” dog.

“No, it is not a dog. The shape of ears are different. Wow, it is a fox!”

I have ever seen wild fox in Hokkaido and assumed that foxes are living there or northern Honshu. (Image of fox and snow may be created by a kid’s picture book “Buying Some Gloves”.)

That was a night of Wednesday (Jun.5th).

When I woke up in the next morning, I wondered if I had a dream of fox. (Because fox was believed to cheat people in Japan.) I must not be cheated, must I?

思いがけないアトラクション！

世界中に朝が、宮崎や大分に、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

高速道路のSA/PAを話題にしたところで、実は今週 とあるSAでうれしいアトラクションに遭遇したことを記事にします。

その場所は九州のSAです。

深夜、そのSAに併設されたETCスマートICから入場して、駐車場で休憩していた時です。車の前を薄茶色の犬が横切りました。柴犬かな？

いやちょっと待てよ、、、どうも耳の形が違う！
犬ではなくてキツネだぁ！！

野生のキツネなんて、北海道で見たことあるぐらいで、生息しているのも本州の北の方かと勝手に思っていました。（雪のイメージがあるので、、、絵本の影響か）

水曜日（6/5）の深夜の出来事です。

翌朝目が覚めて、夢か現実か分からなくなってしまいました。キツネだけに化かされたわけではないですよね？
