We are less feeling like “New Year” any more on the 7th day of New Year 2018.
There are many families who eat NANAKUSA-GAYU* today, in accordance with old Chinese tradition. Or some will eat ZENZAI with KAGAMIMOCHI from castle inside. They are all praying for healthy future life, but it is not so easy to be healthy with only eating something.
(*= rice porridge with seven healthy vegetables)
It is most important to take care physical and mental health in daily life.
(People live in big cities may be worse in mental conditions.)
When we look down our town from the heights TOUKA stands, we see not only beautiful view but the scene we don’t want to look at. There are not a few red lights running on the two national roads everyday in this advanced city of aging. New Year holiday was not a exception of that. They might not be called for aged people.
Today, TV news keep reporting about the death of one famous pro-baseball player/director.
Heath is the base and the everything.
Thank you and you have healthy day before wealthy day, you can keep enjoying things you want to do.

ココから見えるのは 美しい景色だけではない
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
1月も7日目ともなると、さすがにお正月気分は抜けますね。
昔からの謂われに忠実に「七草粥」をいただくご家庭も少なくないと思いますが、お粥を食べたからと云って、お城の鏡餅の入ったぜんざいを食べたからと云って、それだけで無病息災、若返り、長い気が出来るということはありません。
常日頃より、心身ともに健康に生きるということが大事だと感じます。
（都会の人は、どちらかというと「心」の方が危険に晒されているのかも）
「灯火」のある高台から町を見下ろすと、キレイな景色だけでなく、あまり見たくない光景も見えることがあります。高齢化の進む町では日頃から赤い光が走っていて、お正月も例外ではありません。もしかしたらご高齢の方に呼ばれたものではないのかもしれません。
今日も、まだ若くして病に倒れた、「闘将」の死が一面のニュースになっていました。
全ては健康が第一です。
