Now is the time summer starts!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Though we have expected that TSUYU would end this week in Kyushu region, 

forecast is now explaining that it will be in next week.

But we have enough sunshine.

Speaking of summer sunshine, we should go to the beach.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今週あたり、九州も梅雨明けかと思ったら、、、

予報ではどうも来週以降になりそうとのことです。

でも、日差しは十分！

夏の日差しを受けて、、、といえば、やっぱり海でしょう。

意外な仲間 / Unexpected Buddy

Unexpected Buddy

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Thursday, just before summer vacation, I drove to the other side of the strait with some errands.

And I saw summer clouds with blue sky as the background.

On the same time, I heard a news “The Tokai, Kinki and Chugoku regions end the rainy season” from car TV.

Yes! I thought that I could experienced end of TSUYU one step ahead of people in Kyushu.

However I knew that Yamaguchi, the other side of the strait, has been categorized in the group of northern Kyushu.

It is difficult for me to understand why Yamaguchi in northern Kyushu,

but I learned that both sides of Kanmon strait will end TSUYU at same timing.

I can’t help but feel a little happy, because it sounds like we are buddy.

意外な仲間

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

夏休み直前の木曜日、ちょっとした用事があって海峡の向こうに渡ったところ、青空をバックに夏の雲が見えました。

そんなタイミングで、車のテレビからは「東海・近畿・中国地方が梅雨明け」というニュースが聞こえてきました。

やった！九州のみなさんよりもひと足先に「梅雨明け」体験だぁ！とよろこんだのも束の間、なんと対岸の山口県は九州北部に分類されているそうなんです。

なんか、ちょっとその分類の意味が分かりませんが、、、

関門海峡の両岸は梅雨が明けるタイミングは同じということを初めて知りました。

なんかちょっとうれしい気がしなくもないです。仲間みたいで、、、

The Lucky Dolphin watching

The Lucky Dolphin watching

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

When I tried to see sunset on Wednesday evening,

I found the lucky one going through the strait.

It seems to registered as “Dolphin”.

Among the local people, it was believed the lucky vessel which make the people who watch it moving through the strait.
