This is the new place of interest in this town, which was built at the place we can see the old place of interest under dismantling.

There is so many facilities being built for old people, but it is good see facility for young people are newly opened.

消えゆく街の名所を眺められる場所に出来た新名所です。

お年寄り向けの施設ばかりが新設される中、こうした若者向けの施設が出来るのはうれしいですね。

P.S. 車にたまたま板も積んでたし、早速、会員に登録しようと思ったら、ある人から「アスファルトは海よりリスクとダメージが大きい」と諭されて、登録については現在検討中です。

Fortunate or Unfortunate?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As of Wednesday, Jun 26, the rainy season “TSUYU” has begun in Northern Kyushu area. We heard that it is latest timing in the history.
(* A guest told me that TSUYU is called as “Jangma” in Korea.)

And all of a sudden it rains cats and dogs.
Because of the rain, we could not see the Shimonoseki Tower from here.

Weather forecast said that a tropical cyclone is turning into a typhoon.
We are worrying about water damage and flood disaster, which have happened every year lately.

And we have to prepare various things for that our guests can enjoy stay even in rain.

ようやく？ とうとう？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

水曜日、北部九州も梅雨入りしました。
（*ゲストに聞きました。韓国では「長雨 (Jangma) 」と言うそうです。）

でもって、いきなり本格的な雨です。
対岸の下関タワーが見えなくなるほどです。

熱帯低気圧が台風になるそうで、その影響らしいのですが、、、
ここのところ毎年起きている大雨・洪水が心配されます。

せっかくいらっしゃるゲストに、雨でも楽しんでもらえるよう準備しなくては！

Harvests from the mountain of my hometown!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Harvest from the mountain of the weekend was cooked into traditional Japanese food and came here yesterday.

At the moment, natural food from the mountain changed into happiness from my hometown mountain.

“OUMA’s bamboo shoot” brand is famous here, but bamboo shoots taken just from the mountain of anywhere in Kitakyushu become soft and tasty by authentic/home cooking.

This is the taste of my mother!
I feel that it was really good for me to come back to my hometown.

This is the best thing which we cannot get in the big city Tokyo.
If there are any people who want U-turn/move to this town, I want to share such experience as well as TOUKA for sleeping space. How about you?

山の幸 in マイ故郷！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

週末に収穫した山の恵みが、その姿を変えて昨日ここへやってきました。

山の「幸」が、故郷の山からの「しあわせ」に変わった瞬間です。

このあたりでは「合馬のたけのこ」ブランドが有名ですが、たとえ合馬でなくても採りたての北九州のたけのこを調理したものは柔らかくてとっても美味しいんです。

それも「おふくろの味」！
故郷に戻ってきてほんとうに良かったと感じる瞬間です。

これこそが東京にはない良さです。

Uターンあるいは移住される方がいれば、宿としての「灯火」だけでなく、こうした体験を是非シェアしたいですね？ いかがでしょう？
