Fire again?!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

When we watched calm night view of this strait from this guesthouse,

suddenly west sky got bright red.

We wondered if there was fire again.

No, no, please do not worry.

It is scenery and streets unique to the industrial city, Kitakyushu.
(Interestingly, from this guesthouse, we can see Kitakyushu behind Shimonoseki (Hikoshima).)

Thank you and you have a nice day, be conscious of a feeling that we will never have fire here.

また火事？！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

穏やかな海峡の夜景を見ていたら、、、

西の空がにわかに明るくなりました。

もしかして、また火事？

いえいえ、工業都市 北九州ならではの夜景です。
（面白いことにココ（灯火）からは下関（彦島）の向こうの北九州が見えるんです。）

それでは、絶対に火事は起こさないという意気込みで素敵な一日を！

日常をとりもどす / Recovering to our normal

Recovering to our normal

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Here in Kanmon strait, we still had strong wind sometimes on Tuesday.

But it got calm as usual on Wednesday. Everything is getting back to normal.

Our merit is that we can see it with our eyes.

For example, on Tuesday regular liner ferry boat, which usually cruise in the night, went through this strait in daytime, to recover their suspension during typhoon attack.

And on Wednesday, she glided through the strait late at night as usual.

Ah, we re-realize that usual life is so grateful.

日常をとりもどす

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここ関門海峡、火曜日には時折強い風が吹いていたのが、

水曜日になると常におだやかになり、いつもの日常にもどってきました。

その様子が目で見て分かるのがココのメリットですね。

例えば、台風のため運休したフェリーが、火曜日にはリカバリーのために通常は航行しない昼間に波立つ海峡を通過していたのが、、、

水曜日にはいつも通りに深夜の穏やかな海峡を滑るように通り過ぎていきます。

あぁ、やっぱりいつも通りの生活って有り難いんだなと再認識しますね。

Under the two lights

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was full moon, harvest moon, Saturday night.

We could see beautiful moon from this guesthouse.

As the mountains locate on our east side, moon rose from the mountain, above the lighthouse and up to the autumn sky.

At the same time, we could hear the sound of insects and we felt autumn very much.

We are worrying about the new typhoon course. We hope mild autumn this year.

ふたつの灯りの下で

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

土曜の夜は満月、中秋の名月でした。

ここ灯火からもきれいな月を眺めることが出来ました。

東は山手になるため、ここでは山から上がった月がまもなく灯台の上を通り、秋の空に昇っていきます。

周囲では虫の鳴き声も多く聞こえ、秋を感じることができました。

あらたな台風の進路が気になりますが、穏やかな秋になるとよいですね。
