Enjoying twice as much!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Usually I go to Tokyo several times in a year during off season of this guesthouse, This year, I may have more chances to to there because of longer off season due to COVID-19 infection. Of course, I do schedule my trip considering infection prevention and public interest/criticism about moving across prefectures. I plan only necessary trip.
To try not to contact with other people, I do not use public transportations. Even before the infection I drive there 2 out of 3 times using general road and expressway, AH1*.
( *AH1: I am not sure who named it and who approved it, but this expressway was signed as “Asian Highway”. Someone in this world may complain it. )
For four years, I have driven pacific coast line including Shikoku island and I have driven northern coast line to Tokyo. So I have studied very much about geography and roads in western Japan. Such knowledge is very useful for travel advice to our future guests. However, I didn’t visit any sightseeing spots and accommodations in where I have an possibility to contact other people. It is specially because I drove with license plate which have city name, getting popular in last one month for 2nd wave of COVID-19 infection.I
Fortunately, I didn’t hear any complaint about where I came from. It may be because the route was good or number of newly infected people went down after I left Kitakyushu.
I kept wearing a surgical mask any time when I was out of the car. But it was totally fun drive with nice weather and wind.

二倍楽しむ！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
時折実施している東京行き。普段は閑散期を利用して、年に数回だったのが、今年は新型コロナウイルスのおかげで閑散期が長期化したせいで、少し増えそうな予感です。もちろん感染対策や、県をまたいでの移動に対する世間の目を十分考慮します。必要・至急を要する用事があるための帰京に限りです。
できるだけ人と接する機会を減らすため、公共の交通機関は使いません。そもそもこれまでも３度に２回は陸路での移動です。下道と高速道路「ＡＨ１*」とを組み合わせて。
（ *AH1: 誰が付けたのか／認めたのか知りませんが「Asian Highway 1」って言うそうですよ。どこからか文句が聞こえてきそうですけれど。）
これまで四年間、ときには四国まわり、ときには北陸まわり。おかげで西日本の地理・道路にはずいぶん詳しくなりました。未来のゲストのために最新の地域情報も色々と仕入れることができます。但し、今回は人のいるような観光地や宿泊施設には立ち寄りませんでした。なぜならだいぶん収束してきたとはいえ、今話題の地名を背負って走りますからね。
今回はルートが良かったのか、期間中の感染報道が少なかったからなのか、道中石を投げられることはありませんでした。
車外では常にマスク着用でしたが、おかげさまで、天気にも、風にも恵まれて、楽しい移動になりました。
それでは、目標／目的地に行くことだけにとらわれず、そこに行き着くまでの過程／行程も大切に、素敵な一日を！
