Let’s look back and prepare!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
On Monday, after sending off guest’s check-out, I had thinking about stories I have heard from the people I have met during volunteer activity in Tohoku area and various episodes I have listened during two time bicycle touring around Sanriku coast (Ishinomaki – Kamaishi & Kuji – Kesennuma) to watch the progress of reconstruction in those areas.
Simultaneously I looked back severe typhoon two years ago and flood here and west Japan. And I thought about disaster prevention.
I have already recognized that the most important difference is “Think in advance” or “Think nothing”.
As we are living in Japan, where we have more possibility to get caught in an earthquake or disasters caused by extreme weather, we made up our mind to think about disaster prevention seriously.

振り返って、備える！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
月曜日はゲストを送り出した後、ボランティアで出会った東北の皆さんから聞いた話や、その後の復興の状況を見たくて、二度に分けて自転車で三陸を走った（石巻〜釜石、久慈〜気仙沼）時に聞いたいろいろな話を思い出していました。
同時に、二年前に北部九州を襲った台風や、昨年の豪雨のことを考え、防災について考えました。
そう、分け目は「考えた」か「考えなかった」か？
地震や異常気象に遭遇する機会の多いこの国にいて、これからも真剣に考えていこうと思います。
