Great waves in this hometown!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
During trip of this autumn to Kanto area, I enjoyed waves in Shimane & Tottori on the way via Sea of Japan, Pacific waves in Chiba* after disaster recovery volunteer (Olympic surf competition is scheduled to be held in Chiba), and waves in Shizuoka and Aichi on the way back via Enshunada.
I could take more time to travel around Ise peninsula. But I came back here in hurry with one reason.
The reason is Typhoon #18 MITAG.
It didn’t mean that I worried about damage by the typhoon. I knew that waves started getting bigger since the middle of week. So I have gone to local home beach everyday since the day I came back. As I expected, the waves of Genkainada were more powerful and better shaped and I kept smiling during I was waiting for next wave.
It takes only 45min from door to waves on pictures. Here may be a paradise actually?!

戻るとスゴいんです！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
今回の関東行き、往路は日本海経由で島根・鳥取の波、千葉ではボランティアついでに太平洋の波、そして復路では遠州灘経由で静岡・愛知の波と戯れてきました。
本当はもう少しゆっくり紀伊半島なども周ってもよかったのですが、慌てて戻ってきたのには訳があります。
その訳は「台風１８号」！
その被害を恐れたからではありません。日本海を通過したこの台風の波が週後半から玄界灘で上がることが分かっていたからです。で、こっちに戻ってからは連日地元のビーチへ。予想通りその波は太平洋や遠州灘の波よりも格段にパワーがあって波形も良くて、波待ちしながら笑みがこぼれるほどでした。
画像の波までココから４５分。ココって実はパラダイスなのかも？！
