Japanese Title (邦題)： 「禊」末尾に
MISOGI
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
On the first day of activity after new year holidays, I purified myself by MISOGI(禊).
MISOGI (Purification) That may sound like I am joking but the ocean, HIBIKI-NADA, city of Kitakyushu faces, has divine energy.
That is because,
HIBIKI-NADA locates between
SANIN ocean of IZUMO Taisho shrine which enshrine god OOKUNINUSHI (who creates island of Japan) and
GENKAI-NADA of MUNAKATA Taisha shrine and its goddess islands which enshrine three goddesses of AMATERASUOOIKAMI (Japanese goddess of the sun). Divine power comes from this.
Such cold and pure sea water from mother ocean purify body and soul of myself and I could feel that I got the divine power.
With the reason of infection prevention, I didn’t visit any shrines, Japanese symbol of idolatry, this year. But the benefit of MISOGI seems to be more than compensate for visiting any shrines.

禊
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
正月明けの月曜日、活動初めの日、まずは禊を済ませました。
禊、、、冗談ぽく書いているように見えますが、実はこの街、北九州の面する響灘には神々しいパワーがあるんです。
なぜなら、、、
大国主大神を祀る出雲大社の山陰の海と
天照大神の三女神が祀られた宗像大社の『神宿る島』玄界灘とに挟まれた海です。
そんな冷たくて清らかな水、生命の母なる海で身を清めて、心身ともに力がみなぎる感覚です。
感染対策もあり、偶像崇拝的な神社での初詣には行きませんでしたが、ご利益は補って余りあるようです。
それでは、パワー溢れる素敵な一日を！
