ちょっと太くなったよね！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

昨晩はすごく細かった三日月が少しだけ太くなっていました。

The earliest people in the morning?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On the previous article, we introduce about Sunday evening.

So let us share about Sunday morning of this town.

AM6:30 Sunday at this port town.

The pier locates at 5 min walking from this guesthouse.

This is a familiar sight of this town in the morning.

We want to say that the earliest people in the morning are us, surfer. But we cannot. 

Because surfers can be on the surf a little before sunrise, but they are at the pier before dawn in the darkness.

To be more precise, the earliest people in the morning are fishing tackle/bait shops who start business for these anglers.

朝一番早いのは？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

先の記事では、この町の日曜の夕方について紹介しましたが、、、

今回は日曜の朝についてお話ししましょう。

日曜のAM6:30頃に撮ったものです。

場所は当宿から徒歩５分程度のところにある岸壁・防波堤です。

いつもの朝の光景です。

朝一番早いのは自分たち波乗りだと言いたいところですが、

サーファーは日の出の少し前ぐらいから海に入ります。ところが釣り人は夜明け前の暗いうちから岸壁にいます。

さらに正確に言えば、一番朝早いのは、彼ら釣り人に向けて営業開始する釣具／釣り餌店ですね。

レトロな町、小森江 / Komorie, the Retro Town

Komorie, the Retro Town

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In my home town, Mojiko area, structured by old port, is famous for its Taisho Retro atmosphere.

And Komorie area, where this guesthouse TOUKA locating at, seemed to have Showa Retro atmosphere.

Nobody say that, but Showa appear and disappear in various aspects and occasions of this town, Komorie.

Because of wind direction, it is hard to read the banner in the photo, but “September 9th, Day of Emergency Lifesaving by Kitakyushu Medical Association” is written on it.

That information must bear in the minds of SHOWA People in this town.

レトロな町、小森江

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

わが故郷のなかでも、港町で構成される門司港エリアは「大正レトロ」が売りのようですが、

当宿の位置する小森江エリアはどうも「昭和レトロ」のようです。

表立ってそんなことを主張する人はいませんが、色んな局面・端々で昭和が見え隠れする落ち着いたエリアです。

*風の関係で広告の文面が見えませんが、「９月９日 救急の日 北九州医師会」というバナーです。

きっとこの町の昭和の人たちの心にはしっかり留まったんだろうと感じました。
