The Life should be Convenient, Tasty and Happy!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The Oyster, I posted on the last article.

Its brand name is “BUZEN HITOTSUBU KAKI”.

As its name tells, its farming areas are east coast of our home town.
However, there is no rail road in east coast, the access is not so good.
(Nevertheless, the airport locates in east coast, furthermore it is on the ocean.)

Along the national road in the east coast, there are several “KAKI GOYA(Oyster BBQ Pit)” doing business. As the access is not convenient in east coast, it is very hard to go there specially for the tourists from overseas, who can only use public transportation.
(Someone have to make some improvement, if he want to introduce the oyster to global market.)

In such market condition for the oyster, there will be a nice event (even for the tourists) being prepared in the beginning of Feb.

The place of the event is the biggest sightseeing spot in this city.

The price is a kind of reasonable, but it is convenient for us to have casual outdoor party, enjoying seasonal speciality food.

200 of small BBQ pit will be prepared there. And food supplying tents will surround the BBQ area. One of them will be local beer factory, which is famous among Korean tourists. It may be smart idea to enjoy their expensive beer in this event (with a little cheaper price?).

“Oyster BBQ at waterfront” sounds not bad, doesn’t it?

If you are planning to visit Kitakyushu and Kanmon area in coming Feb, we strongly recommend you to stay here the first weekend. As this is our hometown and we want you to have good experience in our hometown, TOUKA will give you useful information such as “how was the festival last year”.

人生 何事も、便利に、美味しく、そして楽しく！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

先の記事で紹介したご当地名物の牡蠣。

ブランド名は「豊前一粒牡蠣」です。

ところがこの名前が示すように、その産地はわが街東側沿岸です。
実は東側には鉄道が走っておらず、多少アクセスが不便です。
（とはいっても空港も東側、さらに海の上ですけど、、、笑）

その東側の国道に沿って「かき小屋」という、牡蠣のバーベキュー小屋が点在しているのですが、公共交通機関しか移動の手段のない外国人観光客には至って不便です。
（だれかがなんとかすべきでしょうね。）

そんな状況下、観光客にもありがたいイベントが開催される予定です。

開催場所は市内一の観光地。

価格はまあそこそこリーズナブル程度ですが、このイベントの良さは皆でワイワイやりながらご当地名物を堪能できること。

観光エリアの真ん中にある広場に焼き台が200台ズラッと並びます。それぞれのグループでワイワイ。BBQエリアを取り囲むように屋台も出ます。韓国からのゲストに人気の「地ビール」も出店するので、気軽にテイスティング出来るのは悪くないと思います。

（↑あれっ？本当にお得？！ 算数の実践問題です。で、今年の価格に注目です。）

ウォーターフロントで牡蠣のバーベキュー、、、このフレーズ悪くないでしょ。
（これは言っちゃあいけないことですが、昨年美味しいと思ったのは、、、実は特大サザエでした。）

2月に北九州・関門観光をご検討中の方は最初の週末を“強力”にお勧めします。
「灯火」も我が町が自慢する名物を食べてほしいので、昨年どうだったかなどの情報を積極的に提供するつもりです。

＊でもね、正直言うとこのイベント、旅行者に全然優しくないんです。チラシは日本語のペラ一枚だし、HP他の情報もない。さらにそのチラシの内容も不親切で、地図や料金情報すらない。

日本人ですら、どうやったら美味しい牡蠣にありつけるのか分かりにくい。これは海峡花火と同様で（集客が見込めるからか）、わが町のセールスポイントでさらに強化すべき「旅行者に対しての親切さ」に乏しい（客観的には一見さんお断りにしか見えない）イベントなんです。興味あるゲストのみなさんには「灯火」がしっかり情報提供しますので、どうぞ「美味しくて、楽しい思い出」を作ってください。＊
