Cooling off in the evening at Kanmon strait!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This weekend, we went out to the pier to enjoy cool sea breeze with one of the most repeated guests.

And we let her to catch fish there.

We are a little guesthouse TOUKA, but we make effort to promote our repeater guests something new every time. So please feel free to stay here again and more than 3 times. We think you will experience something fun every time.

交換してみました！/ Exchanged!

Exchanged!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Two days ago, July 24 2019, was just one year before the beginning of Tokyo Olympic 2020. On the day, second batch of the celebration coins of Olympic game were released to be exchanged in major banks in Japan.
(To telI the truth, I didn’t know that there was first batch release several months ago.)

So I went to our main bank and got 8 different designed coins of both batch.

It was my first impression when I see the coins that they look so cheap. It cannot be helped, as each coins are 100JPY, but I thought that they look like coins for an amusement arcade.

However I felt that embossed pattern of athlete on each coin is well-made when I watch them closely. Now we start thinking how we can utilize the coins in this guesthouse.

It is the great opportunity to have Olympic game in this country and we want to share such exciting experience with our guests.

交換してみました！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

2020東京オリンピック開催までちょうど1年となる一昨日、平成31年7月24日、日本では記念硬貨の第二次交換が始まりました。
（正直いうと、第一次交換があったことすら知りませんでした。）

というわけで、早速昨日銀行に行き、第一次分・第二次分あわせて8種類の硬貨を交換してきました。

硬貨を入手しての第一印象は「なんか安っぽい」。100円硬貨なので仕方ないのですが、パット見、ゲーセンのコインかと思ったぐらいです。

ただ、よく見ると浮き出しの競技アスリートなど、よく出来ている硬貨なので、ウチでも上手く使いたいと思案中です。

夏のオリンピックが国内で開催されるなんて貴重な機会です。ワクワクをゲストとも共有したいですね。

Keen sense of season!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Every time guests check out from this guesthouse on the last day of the stay, we are concerned whether she/he could enjoy staying here or not. That is always our biggest interest, even though TOUKA is a little/cheap guesthouse.

One day this week, a guest handed me one thing at the entrance hall.

It was a gift which she drew during her stay here.

She stayed here in TSUYU season and prepared a gift considering coming summer.

We are sure that we will remember her, when we will have TSUYU season every year.

旬感溢れる！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

滞在最終日の朝を迎え、ゲストがチェックアウトする時にいつも気になることは、当宿での滞在で満足されたかどうか？ たとえ安宿であっても一番気になります。

見送ろうと一緒に玄関を出た時に、ゲストさんから手渡されました。

滞在中に描いたという素敵なプレゼント。
