We are in the new year 2019 now.
But the most interesting thing for us is:

“Showing hospitality to our guests”!

It is really fun for us to make our guests to feel fun to touch Japanese culture and Japanese life in this town.

We heard that there is not few host to do like this.
But it is our biggest priority to letting them to have fun here.

I was cleaning this guesthouse after Christmas.

When I was cleaning the aisle and I looked up in front of female dormitory,

I found one cool decoration at room door.

We like it! It is pretty cool sense!

This must be decorated by one guest staying here a week. I felt a little happy, when I found it.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

クリスマス明けのゲストルームのお掃除。

廊下で掃除機をかけていて、女性用のドミトリーの扉を見上げると、、、

イイねっ！こういうの大好きです。
長期滞在していただいているゲストのちょっとした配慮に心が和みました。

Cool way to spend Christmas Holiday!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This year, Mojiko doesn’t have Christmas fireworks.

But Shimonoseki does have more fireworks than usually.
We could see them from our guest rooms.

However in TOUKA, we saw much more wonderful thing together. One guest, who came here attend a conference, is a professor of astronomy who came from the country of grass fields. She proposed us to see it together by using our astronomical telescope, we got at flea market.

According to her, it is easier and more beautiful to see than full moon.

We all are impressed more by the circle of natural for long time, than artificial circle.

クリスマス・ホリデーの粋な過ごし方！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今年の門司港は、クリスマスの花火が上がりません。

その分、昨日は対岸の下関で景気よく上がっていたようです。
「灯火」からもその様子が見えました。

ここ「灯火」では花火よりもっと素敵なものをみんなで見ました。
学会に参加するために利用いただいたというゲストが、草原の国からやってきた天文学の教授で、その先生の呼びかけで、フリマで買ったウチの天体望遠鏡を使ってみんなで見ました。

「16番目の月」

満月よりも見やすくて、綺麗なんだそうです。

人工的な丸よりも、太古からの丸に皆で感動しました。
