Is this just Fantasy? Black Humor? or Edgy Sense?
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Just after I uploaded the previous article about special service for the foreign tourists in this town, a reporter of major newspaper visited this guesthouse.
As a mass media, he was interested in what made THEM come to Kitakyushu. To find why, he came to this little guesthouse.
He brought a gift for us. It was a brand-new special chocolate made by “GRAN DA ZUR”, a famous chocolate maker in Kitakyushu. Their “Bolt and Nut Chocolate” released a few years ago got famous and sold out before the Valentine’s Day last year.
They developed new chocolate, shaped like Kitakyushu’s industrial products again. However the shape is not adopted for chocolate normally.
Yes, the shape of toilet stool!
The package is wonderful. When I opened the box with curiosity, white chocolates shaped like toilet stool came out from the box.
What a sense they are! They are almost black humor but not yet, because they are made quite fine. However some people may feel strange, when they put them into their mouths.
Unfortunately (fortunately?) I could not find any chocolate colored object in the toilet stool shape white chocolate.
Kitakyushu is full of high sense with cutting edge. I really like such aspect of this town.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
この街の外国人観光客向けサービスについて、ここで意見申していたら、それを見た◯◯新聞さんが早速取材にやって来ました。
メディアも「YOUが何しに関門へ？」来るのかに興味があるそうで、最前線で外国人観光客と対話しているこんなちいさい宿屋の話まで聞きに来てくれました。
手土産に、あるスイーツを持ってきてくれたのですが、さすが新聞社のエリア担当、話題の一品です。
何年か前に発売された地元産品を精巧に模したネジチョコレートは、昨年のバレンタインの時期には全国からの注文で売り切れるほど人気となった「グラン ダ ジュール」さんの新作です。
再び別の地元産品を模した商品ですが、、、今回は普通の感覚ではスイーツのモデルにはならない物。
そう、便器です。
パッケージは素晴らしく、恐る恐るおしゃれな箱(?)を開けると、中から出てきたのはホワイトチョコレートで出来たトイレ！なんというセンスでしょう！良く出来ていてなんとかブラックジョークギリギリのところで仕上げています。ただ、なかには口に入れるのに抵抗を感じる消費者はいるかもしれませんね。
残念ながら、白いチョコレートの中にチョコレート色で造形したアレはありませんでした。（元武蔵野在住、う◯ずかずおファンとしては、正直、ちょっとだけ期待していました。）
こんなとんがったユーモアに富んだ我が街、、、やっぱり嫌いにはなれません。

P.S. バレンタインに女の子からこのチョコをもらう男性諸氏はきっと複雑でしょう。もし喧嘩でもしていれば「水に流す」ってことかもね。
