SAKURA in KOMORIE start blooming this week. I decided to go out to feel the spring more and more.
To the Sea!
It is the spring tide this week. What Japanese enjoy in spring tide is Seashell Digging!
One year has passed since I came back to Kitakyushu, and my sense of spending money is already back to Kitakyushu-mode. So there is no way spending money and I went to free seashell digging spot. However when I arrived at the beach, there are bunch of cars parking in a line.
When I finish preparing and walk up the bank, there is huge tideland in front of me.
Even with bunch of people digging, the tideland was so huge that I can feel relaxed when I digging sand, feeling spring wind and warm saltwater.
What is interesting in this spot is not only digging ordinal clam, but also getting razor clam which has very unique behavior.
(It is so unique and I recommend to check moving picture by searching with keyword “catch, razor clam”.) There were families with small kids so exciting catching them.
When I looked up, I could see birds flying along the shore far away at low tide. I felt very cool and comfortable spring wind under endless sky.

体いっぱい春の風を感じに！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
ここ小森江にも桜が咲き始めた今週、桜だけでは満足できずに、さらなる春を感じるために出かけてきましたぁ。
海へ！
今週は春の大潮。 大潮といえば、、、そう、潮干狩り！
すでに北九州に戻って約一年、金銭感覚は北九州人。 貝掘りごときにお金を払う気は全くないので、もちろん無料のスポットへ。 ところが着いたは良いものの、すでに海岸沿いの道路には路駐の車がいっぱい。
いそいで準備をして、堤防を越えると、目の前に現れたのは、、、
、、、広大な干潟！
大勢の貝掘り客を受け入れて、まだまだ余裕の広さ。
おかげで春の風・海水を感じながら、のんびり潮干狩りを楽しむことが出来ました。
こちらのスポット、特筆すべきはその貝。アサリだけでなく、マテ貝というユニークな習性を持つ貝も取れる面白い場所です。
（その面白さは、是非「マテ貝、潮干狩り、動画」で検索して見てください。）子供連れはキャーキャー歓声をあげて、このマテ貝取り、楽しんでいました。
時折顔を上げると、遠くにみえる海岸線には海鳥が群れていて、広い空の下、なんとも爽快で気持ちのよい春の日でした。

P.S. この潮干狩り、実は前日のリベンジでした。前日の海も気持ち良かったのですが、収穫は散々なものでした。
