It has been 50days since the Grand Opening!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
It has been almost 50 days since Grand Opening of Renovated Mojiko station, which is the icon and landmark of our town.
There are no longer exaggerated events held in front of the station and the area around the station seems to recover its composure.
The view in front of the station with rickshaws negotiating with western tourists and fountain gets comfortable for me. Don’t you think so?
Anyway, tomorrow is the day of starting Japanese Golden Week Holidays. However most of the events, planning to be held in Mojiko, will be some kind of relaxed one. How about walking around such a chic port town on your holidays?
TOUKA has almost full of guests during Golden Week. But most of our guests are mainly interested in visiting wisteria garden. So we will advice/recommend them to visit Mojiko, which locates on the opposite direction.

５０日も経つと、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
先月リニューアルした、わが町を代表するアイコンでありかつランドマークでもある門司港駅。そのグランドオープンからまもなく５０日が経とうとしています。
堅苦しいイベント事もなくなり、ようやく落ち着いた感が出てきました。
駅前で客待ちする人力車に交渉する欧米人観光客、そして噴水、なんか絵としてしっくりしてきたように思うのは自分だけでしょうか？
明日から始まるゴールデンウィーク。予定されているイベントも意外と渋め。そんな落ち着いた港町観光なんていかがでしょうか？
連休中は当宿もほぼ満室。ご利用になるゲストの皆さんはどちらかというと藤の花見にいらっしゃる方が多いようです。なので、反対方向の門司港、さり気なくご紹介・オススメしていきたいと思います。
