On Tuesday, we felt somehow hot.

It seemed that it is because there are no a few area where recorded high temperature as summer day.

Speaking of summer day,

冷たっ！でも寒くはない / Cold! but not chilly

Cold! but not chilly

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As forecasted, we had warm sunshine on Wednesday.

So I drove to the beach.

Water is cold but I didn’t feel chilly on the sea.

Waves were small but my this year’s first beach was wonderful experience

It is more like purification ceremony than surfing.

冷たっ！でも寒くはない

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

天気予報で言っていた通り、水曜日は暖かい日差しが届きました。

そして、その恩恵をかみしめに海へ。

水は冷たいけれど、素手に裸足でも海の上にいて寒いと感じることはありませんでした。

波は全然でしたが、今年初めての海は上々の気分転換となりました。

それは波乗りというよりは、むしろ禊に近い感覚かもしれません。

それでは、冬の合間の春のような暖かい日差しを楽しむ素敵な一日を！

季節は変わった / Season changed

Season changed

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the middle of this week, we had wind, which is west wind. so I drove to the point which I checked before.

There were OK level waves, and I decided to go in the water to play a couple of hours.

However,

after a while, I felt strong pain on my wrists, paddling in the water. It might be the most intense pain since I came back this town.

I thought that we don’t need to beware of jellyfish yet, as it has been so hot and water temp was also high. But I realized that we should take care after OBON holidays.

If you are planning to go to the beach this weekend, please take care.
(Specially clear water beach may have more risk to encounter the squishy ones.)

I try not to expose my skin, when I will go into the sea.

季節は変わった

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今週は週中盤に久しぶりに風、それも西風が吹いたので以前からチェックしていた場所に行ってみました。

決して良いとは言えないまでも、そこそこ波が入ってきていたので、二時間ほど遊んでみることにしました。

ところが、、、

海に入ってしばらくすると、水をかく腕に激しい痛み。こちらに戻って以来一番の痛みかもしれません。

まだまだ暑いし、水温も高いので大丈夫かと思っていたら、お盆をすぎるとやっぱりやられてしまいますね。

遅めの夏休みこの週末にとって、海にでもと考えている方は要注意です。
( 経験から、きれいな海水のビーチほど、あのぐにゃぐにゃしたやつに出くわす可能性が多いみたいです。）

自分も肌の露出は少なくするよう心がけようと思います。
