Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Could you see the NHK’s TV Program “BURA-TAMORI” last night?

NHK is broadcasting program about this area two weeks in a row.
(It was postponed from last week due to the rain disaster.)
Program this week was about the other side, Shimonoseki.

It was a good study to know the roots of Kanmon straits we can see in front of this place.
It was useful for us to understand this place geologically and geopolitically.

And 5 pairs of lighthouses introduced as the key of safe cruise through the strait.
Yes, one of them is the lighthouse of this guesthouse TOUKA.

Official name of the lighthouse is “Rear light of OOSETO Leading Lighthouses No.3”!

The TV talent TAMORI could not see but it is amazing watching huge passenger cruiser is coming straight to this place.

I believe that there is no other guesthouse/hotel stands under leading lighthouse of the strait.

Would you come here to see big ship coming toward yourself and experience deep sleep under soft light from leading lighthouse.

ブラタモリ #108 下関

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

みなさん見られました？ NHKの番組「ブラタモリ」！

今週と来週、二週に渡って関門海峡特集です。
（先週分が大雨の緊急放送のため延期されました。）
今週は対岸の「下関」について。

眼の前に広がる関門海峡のルーツが分かってスゴく勉強になりました。
地質学・地勢学的に故郷を見たことがない自分にはとてもタメになりました。

そして、海峡の安全航行の要と紹介されていた５組の導灯（灯台）。
そう当宿「灯火」の灯台もその一つです。

正式名称は「大瀬戸 第三号導燈 後燈」です！

第三号導灯をシーサイド国道１９９号から見ると（画像）。

航路の先にある「ミクニワールドスタジアム北九州」から見ると（画像）。

タモリさんは見れませんでしたが、この灯台に向かって大型船が真っ直ぐに向かってくるのは結構迫力です。

おそらく海峡の導灯に立つ宿は「灯火」以外、他にはないと思います。

是非一度、向かってくる大型船を見に、灯台の優しい灯りの下でぐっすり眠りに、ココに来てみませんか。
