Happiest Message!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

A very happy message arrived at TOUKA.

The message is from a girl from China, who stayed at TOUKA on a hot summer day, much hotter than now, few weeks after TOUKA was opened.

She informed me of her getting an unofficial offer for employment from a company in education industry.

The night, we watched Olympic game together.
And she talked me her hopes and fears toward future until midnight.

So, the message made me very happy.
Because it means that she find a one direction (course) by herself toward her bright future.

It is the happiest news for TOUKA, as TOUKA want to be a little lighthouse for guest’s life, as well as the lighthouse for traveler.
(*TOUKA is Japanese word which means the light from lighthouse.)

I am really hoping that she will go boundless ocean, which called LIFE, emphatically and meaningfully.

Thank you and you have wonderful life, finding best course finally after worrying and wavering.

最高にうれしいメッセージ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

とってもうれしいメッセージが「灯火」に届きました。

今よりずいぶんと暑かった今年の夏、まだ「灯火」がオープンして間もない頃、利用していただいた中国の女の子からのメッセージです。

教育関係の会社から内定をもらったという報告でした。

その夜、一緒にオリンピックを観戦し、その後、夜遅くまで、将来への不安や期待を話していたゲストさん。本当に嬉しいニュースです。

将来への進路（針路）が一つ見えてきたという訳で、旅人への「灯火」であるとともに、人生のちいさい「灯火」でもありたいと考える当宿にとって最高のメッセージです。

人生という大海を力強く、有意義に進んでほしいですね。
